What is the competition doing well?

• Keep descriptions brief
• Have a running 'theme' throughout site
• Featured projects usually first thing seen
• Running list of technologies learned or studied w/ links to github or other locations to see work.

What is the competition NOT doing well?

• Some that I've seen, the color palette is greys and whites. Somewhat boring.
• Some make you click through too many links to read about them or see their work. That's not appealing.
• Lack something that sets them apart.

What I will keep or do better?

• I like the running theme, I think a well set stage can have a great production.
• I need to make sure to keep it simple, without a lot of clicking and navigating.
• Portfolios seem to be the space to go full out and show what you can do, I need to be sure to use this.
