Who is my Audience?
My goal audience is future employers for either career related jobs or side work that I enjoy. These next few questions will help narrow that information to more specific demographics.
Where is my audience located?
I want my site accessible from anywhere because opportunities lurk in every region of the globe. If I had to focus a target area for SEO purposes, I would theoritically produce it in the area I wish to be, like Silicon Valley for example.
What is the age range of my users?
Employers are my target audience, and those doing the hiring will most likely have been in the industry for a good amount of time. My guess would be they are in their 40s, maybe 50s. Well into Senior Dev positions to be hiring for their company.
What is the gender of the user?
The industry is pretty male dominant, so that would be my guess. But if I include my side work as a construction contractor, my audience will most likely be wives at home trying to find a good handyman to do things their husbands won't.
