Brancheninformationen Umwelt & Energie

�berblick:
(Kansai Business) - Trotz schwieriger gesamtwirtschaftlicher Bedingungen bleibt der Markt f�r Umwelttechnik in Japan auch weiterhin ein Wachstumsbereich. Das japanische Umweltministerium prognostiziert ausgehend von einer Marktgr�sse von 24,7 Billionen Yen im Jahr 1997 eine Steigerung des Marktvolumens auf 39,8 Billionen Yen im Jahr 2010. Dies entspricht einem durchschnittlichen Jahreswachstum von knapp 4%. Deutliche Wachstumsraten sind f�r die Bereiche Abfallwirtschaft und Recycling, Abwasserbehandlung, Abwasseraufbereitung, Sanierung von kontaminierten B�den, erneuerbare Energien sowie Energiesparen zu erwarten.

Auf die Kansai-Region entfallen (bei einem regionalen Beitrag von 19% zum nationalen Bruttoinlandsprodukt) 25% der Ums�tze des japanischen Umweltmarktes.

Das Inkrafttreten neuer Umweltgesetze im Jahr 2003 (u.a. �Law for Special Measures for Soil Pollution� und �Law Concerning the Special Measures for the Use of New Energies�) und verschiedene neue Recyclinggesetze aus den Jahren 1997-2002 sorgen in Japan auch in den kommenden Jahren f�r gute Wachstumsrahmenbedingungen.
