Bucks U15 v Cambs U15

Both teams were down to 10 men on the day as sickness struck both camps!

Winning the toss and electing to field Bucks made a confident start in the field looking an improved team. There were 21 runs on the board before losing their first wicket then Cambs began to settle in and it wasn't till there was a flurry of wickets from C.Mill and R. Wilkes that Bucks looked like they could keep the Cambs score within reach. They managed to bowl them out for 73 off 25 overs

Cassie Mill took 3 wickets for 12 runs off 2 overs and Katie Dewhurst and Rosie Wilkes took 2 a piece.

Although losing an early wicket with Vicki O'Neill hitting her own wicket, a solid partnership between Kirsty McKenzie 7 and Hannah Mcmanus 33 and Cassie Mill making a useful 13 n.o. enabled Bucks to overtake Cambs score in 17 of their allocated 35 overs .

Cambs 73/10 (C.Mills 3-12)

Bucks 75/5 (H.McManus 33)

RESULT: BUCKS U15 WIN
