In the summer of 1998 Thames Valley split to form three different teams(Bucks, Berks and Ox). Buckinghamshire then entered there first ever
side(U15) into the national league. That summer proved a great success for
the side, and even today was one of our most successful yet, the team
narrowly missed out on a spot in the national finals.

Oundle)
In 1999 The first ever U13 squad was formed. That first year provided a tough learning curve for the young, relatively inexperienced squad. in
the years that followed the side has developed from a 'bucks swans' team to
a fully fledged county side, through a combination of matches against club
and county opposition the players have developed their cricketing
knowledge and skills. The hard work put in during those early years of the side is
now paying off with 2003 proving to be the most successful year for the side to date with them narrowly missing out on winning promotion to
southern div 1 on run rate.
In 00' Bucks formed their first U19 squad consisting of many of the
players from the team that had just missed out on a spot in the finals in 98. It
soon became obvious that the gap in standards between those two age
groups was huge with the game developing considerably over that period. The U19
battled hard winning four matches over the 00' and 01' seasons, but the lack of player availability proved to be a constant obstacle making it
impossible to put out unchanged teams from match to match. Bucks have
been unable to put out an U19 side in the years that followed due to lack of
players in that age group.
