Bucks U15 v Essex U15
Essex won the toss and put Bucks in to bat.
Some tight bowling from A. Mannion (4 overs for just 5 runs) and
F. Harris (4 overs 11 runs 1 wicket) kept Bucks to a low total.
K. O'Neill batted resiliently for a respectable 21.
Essex batted superbly with H. Leich reaching
31. Despite S. Yearwood bowling a tight 3 overs for 11 runs
Essex reached their total in 14 overs and won the game.
RESULT: Bucks 65/5, Essex 67/1

Bucks U15 v Herts U15
Hertfordshire won the toss and put Bucks in
to bat. On an overcast day Bucks struggled with the swing. Some
superb bowling from G. Mumby (4.4 overs, 8 runs, 4 wickets) and
N. Chapman (3 overs, 2 runs, 2 wickets) kept Bucks to a very low
total.
Hertfordshire batted safely and despite I
Guha's 5 overs and 5 maidens combined with K. Kang's 5 overs for
6 runs Herts reached their total without loss of wicket.
RESULT:
Bucks 33/10, Essex 34/0

Middlesex U15 v Bucks U15
Bucks batted first. Despite loosing early
wickets S. Yearwood batted positively to finish not out on 20.
Some attacking bowling from A. Jones (6 overs 8 runs 3 wickets)
and Roberts (3 overs 1 wicket 3 runs) made scoring difficult for
Bucks.
Middlesex lost some early wickets but S.
Trinder and A. Khan helped them through (reaching 16 and 20*
respectively). Despite I. Guha again bowling tightly (6 overs
for 9 runs and 1 wicket) and K. O'Neill (6 overs 6 runs and 1
wicket) Middlesex reached their target comfortably.
RESULT: Bucks 66/10,

Bucks U15 v Surrey U15
Surrey batted first and struggled against a
dominant Bucks bowling attack. R. Roper top scored for Surrey
with a well deserved 15 runs. T. Potts and V. O'Neill bowled
well, taking 2 wickets each.
S. Yearwood was again dominant with the bat
for Bucks finishing unbeaten on 20*. However, due to slow
scoring by Bucks they fell short of their target by 9 runs with
wickets in hand. (J. Christian 6 overs, 12 runs, 2 wickets).
RESULT: Surrey 90/7,
Bucks 82/8

Great Missenden
Bucks U15 v Hants U15
Bucks won the toss and put Hampshire in to bat.
Some good bowling from I. Guha (6 overs, 12 runs, 2 wickets) and
T. Potts (6 overs, 17 runs, 2 wickets) made scoring difficult
for Hampshire. M. Pearcy and K. White each batted patiently for
Hants and reached 24 and 23 respectively.
Some attacking batting by K. O'Neill (30
runs) got Bucks off to a firm start. I. Guha also had a superb
captains innings helping to guide her side to victory. Despite
good bowling from H. Pearcy (6 overs, 10 runs, 1 wicket) and H.
Richards (6 overs, 10 runs, 1 wicket). Bucks got the winning run
from the last ball to scrape to victory.
RESULT: Hants
111/7, Bucks 112/6

Bucks U15 v Kent U15
Bucks won the toss and put Kent in to bat. I. Guha
took an early wicket (6 overs 15 runs 1 wicket). Despite this
set back L. Greenway kept her head and batted superbly to reach
60 runs. N. Lane supported her well reaching 25. G. Crompton
took 2 wickets for Bucks.
Kent bowled tightly with L. Greenway taking 2
wickets for 9 runs from 5 overs and S Husband taking 5 for 5 off
4 overs. I. Guha top scored for Bucks with 11 runs but the Bucks
batsmen failed to get going failing to reach the target.
RESULT: Kent
