NEWS: March 04 Schools
Indoor U13 & U15 Tournaments Congratulations
to all those who took part in the tournaments. Schools & Club teams
playing totalled 14 this year, a wonderful turn out for a summer sport.
There were more games all round & there has been a great leap in the
standard …… our 8 over games are so closely contested, we have had
some gripping finishes.. The
Grange School from Aylesbury, Chesham High, Highcrest School & Dr
Challoner’s won their way to the finals, with DCHS eventually emerging
winners. Unfortunately the South Region Finals were played during half
term, so it was a depleted DCHS U15 squad who won their first 2
matches but lost to Maidstone Grammar. Then as last year, lost to
Bearwood Manor CC from
Middlesex. who went on to the National Finals at
Lords!!!! In
the U13 Bucks finals,
Chesham HS were victorious, after beating
Dr Challoners by 20 runs and so claimed the Bucks Trophy.
Congratulations to all those who took part , hope to see you all
soon playing cricket on grass! Dr
