FESTIVAL: 05'

The annual Bucks cricket fest was a bit of a washout with only one day's play achieved.  County matches on the Sunday, ‘Turn up & Play’ and the single wicket competitions all fell victim to the ‘July monsoon’…. it was the fourth year of the Bucks Fest &  the first time any fest days had been lost to weather… so perhaps it was due.  Nonetheless it was a minor tragedy  for the continued development of girls cricket as the events have proved an excellent introduction or extension of cricket opportunities for many girls.
