NEWS: Apr 01'

Welcome to the start of hopefully an enjoyable and successful season. We are entered into the national U19 county competition and will play 5 matches (see fixtures). Kent have withdrawn so a friendly has been arranged against Norfolk Ladies. This will be a 50 over game played at Princes Risborough CC on July 8th starting at 12 midday. The team will be made up of U19's and ladies. Do come and support the team. We will be providing a BBQ so what more could you want on a perfect English summer's day! Sun perhaps!

It has been a busy winter with girls attending indoor nets at RGS and Ashfold schools. Our thanks go to Steve Ayres, Lee Mason and Chris Powell for all their input. There was also an U13 and U19 intercounty competition at Bradfield (see the respective results pages on this site for more details). Isa Guha has been attending winter nets at Trent Bridge and the following girls attended 2 nets at Guildford: Shanique Yearwood and Danni Warren. Kate O'Neill unfortunately had to withdraw due to injury. Judith Turner attended 2 nets at Taunton.
What else is new? We now have a new sponsor for girls cricket development. Our sponsors Fisher Wilson and Sportsmatch. Fisher Wilson's sponsorships has been matched by sports match so watch this space for updates.

One way the money is being used is to buy tracksuits for the county squads, these will be available for girls to either purchase or rent for the season. These should be ready for our first match against Hants on 24th July at West Wycombe CC we hope our sponsor will be there to present us with our cheque. Lets make this a memorable day with a good turnout.
We've enlisted the help of Crispin Andrews to be our U19 match coach. All girls should arrive for matches at 12 midday for warm up and practice. Crispin will be organizing some practice sessions at the beginning of June at Aylesbury CC. Dates will be confirmed shortly..
