ThomasBriggs questioned where this happened. The caps were on the School Lane Farms sideof the creek. The caps have been broken from lawn mowers, etc. The Sewer Authorityhas been working to correct everything and to lower these caps to prevent thehomeowners from breaking them again.Letter from Cory Rathman of Hyder regarding D & E site lighting. The poles are 20' high andthe zoning ordinance 184-40 allows for 16' high poles. The board feels that BarryWagner should enforce the zoning ordinance and the poles should be reduced.Cocalico Creek Watershed Plan Advisory Committee information. Patrick will plan to attendthe next meeting.Old BusinessResolution No. 2000-26, accepting Chapel Lane, Cornerstone Way and Stoneridge Drive aspart of the public road system of West Earl Township. Sylvan has checked all the roads andthey meet all the requirements. Patrick has the maintenance guarantee in the amount of$63,300.00 for the 18 months maintenance agreement.Motion by Sylvan Fisher second by Walter Wanner to enact Resolution 2000-26 to acceptChapel Lane, Cornerstone Way and Stoneridge Drive as part of the public road system.Motion earned. Sylvan Fisher, Richard Stover, Richard Horst and Walter Wanner voted for andThomas Briggs voted against.Motion by Sylvan Fisher second by Richard Stover to release the letter of credit for $73,320.00(letter number 94-1 ). Motion approved unanimously.Darl Yoder requested that his letter of credit to cover the cost of curbing Installation bereleased by the Township. Thomas Briggs questioned about requiring a bond for thecontractors to install sidewalks, curbing or paving. There are currently no requirements. Theboard would like to see the prints for this project before acting on It.Brian Brandt addressed the board about purchasing rifles instead of shotguns. Brian wouldlike to budget for 3 rifles at a cost of about $800.00 each. Thomas Briggs questioned therange of the weapon and if the range was needed. Motion by Sylvan Fisher second by Richard Horst to let the item in the budget and to getmore information about the weapon. The rifles may not be purchased until approved.Motion approved unanimously.
