Motion approved unanimously. -Brian: Brian met with Akron Boro representatives. They will have a lease agreement with themonthly rent being $1.00, Akron Boro must be listed as an insured. West Earl Township will payany legal fees and there will be no termination date on the lease. Akron Boro agreed toaccept the agreement contingent upon the recommendation of their solicitor and mayor. Part time Police Officer, Larry Smoker resigned.Motion by Sylvan Fisher second by Dick Horst to accept Larry Smoker's resignation. Motionapproved unanimously. Brian discussed the need to have an officer take a sign language course.Motion by Dick Horst second by Thomas Briggs to have Brian Brandt attend a sign languageclass. Motion approved unanimously.Sylvan: Sylvan discussed the progress of the building addition and the preconstruction meeting.The architects asked about heating the restrooms so the water will not freezeThe board went into executive session at 10:20 pm and returned to regular session at 10:50pm.The meeting adjourned at 10:55 pm.
