Motion approved unanimously.Darlene Graham spoke about the Park & Rec Board Meeting. The Board would like to applyfor grants for the park development. They need to hire a landscape architect to prepare alandscape plan.Motion by Dick Horst second by Thomas Bnggs to appropriate $5,000.00 for a landscapearchitect for the Lion's Park. If the $5,000.00 is enough to have the architect prepare plansfor the Lion's Park and the Stone Quarry Road Park, both parks should be prepared. If it is notenough, just the Lion's Park should be prepared. Motion approved unanimously.Burnell Cochran requested a letter from the Board for a driveway permit from Penn Dot forthe right-of-way on 272.Motion by Dick Stover second by Sylvan Fisher to prepare an acknowledgment letter forBurnell Cochran for his application for a Highway Occupancy Permit from Penn Dot for theproperty at 4170 Oregon Pike. Motion approved unanimously.The board discussed the amount due for the Farmersville Intersection. Josele prepared aletter staling the amount to pay is $141,158.45. The county and state have not finishedpaying the grant monies to West Earl.Motion by Sylvan Fisher second by Dick Horst to accept Resolution 2000-22 to accept theagreement for the Winter Traffic Services for 5 years. Motion approved unanimously.Johnston & Associates requested a two year extension to file a Final Plan for Phase II portionof Eagleview Estates. The board felt that a letter should go to Johnston & Associates aboutthe items need to complete the requirements for Phase I Final Plan approval."Motion by Sylvan Fisher second by Walter Wanner to accept Resolution 2000-23 to approvethe municipal pension plan. Motion approved unanimously.
