The Naked Apostle

Was it common for workers of that day to work nude?
Peter, one of the
newly ordained Apostles of Jesus was caught working nude on his fishing vessel. Jesus, who was recently resurrected, apparently showed up unexpectedly to visit his friends and Apostles. When he found them fishing in their boat, Peter was surprised to find him there, threw on his clothes, for he was working nude, and jumped over board. It was not reported if the other apostles (11 in all) were nude, but it is rumored that working nude was common for workers of that day. Nor does it say if Jesus was alarmed by it. However, due to Peters swimming to shore, the others were left to haul in the load that was taken after Jesus told them where to find the fish.
Did Jesus also work nude?
Peter and his fellow apostles, came to the tomb to look for Jesus when they found out by the women that He was resurrected. But when they arrived, all they found was the burial wrappings they put on him when he was originally buried at the tomb three days earlier. Since there was no report of anyone dressing him, and Mary did mistaken Him for a working gardener of the area, it may very well be a fact that Jesus was wearing nothing at the time he was discovered. The bodies were buried, if any time was taken at all, with nothing but a shroud and any spices and burial ointments used at the time. The shroud or wrappings were discovered there neatly folded to one side. That was all that he had.
