Interesting Photography Links:
Links I usually refer to for getting tips on taking better pics, choosing equipment, and manipulating digital images.Photography related websites:
Beginner Links:
- Historical
perspective.
- Basics of photo composition: Read the basic rules of composing a photograph, a "first" for everyone starting taking photographs. The very first composition tutorial.(This is a newer version. Older verion seemed to be better with less distractions on the page and only the relevent stuff with navigation buttons.)
- Make your own: Kodak's "How to make a Pinhole Camera", a nice, easy and inexpensive way to step into the wonderful world of pinhole photography.
- A nice article on Nikon website for basics on "Creating Better Pictures".
- A whole world of information for beginners(Kodak), Taking Great Pictures.
- Photoxels' tutorial on digital photography.
- ALTERNATIVE PROCESS TUTORIALS & PDF DOWNLOADS: A few good
tutorials on the "alt processes" of the yesteryears. A good place to
start if one is curious to try out these processes. There is quite a
lot of information about the "Zone System" too.
Don't forget to visit the Photo Tips page on Kodak's site for some very interesting tips on taking pictures with examples on each page.
Amateur Links:
- A very good article on resizing images by Bob Atkins.
- Photo.net's compedium
for learners.
- The Zone System.
