All you have to do is click on the button below, and a description of a story will be randomly produced for you. The elements given will include:

• Main Character: A name or type of person within canon
• Secondary Character: attributes such as jobs or hobbies for additional characters
• An event or reference: A pattern to build the story around, or an item to be mentioned within the story
• Included in: Items can be symbolic or a clue to further the story
• Setting: A time and/or place in which the story occurs, begins, or ends.
• Theme: Issues at hand for the protagonist/antagonist

The story does not have to include all suggestions. Some suggestions might not be reasonable for canon. Some won't be familiar with certain characters within a series; feel free to substitute the alternate version of the character you are familiar with.

Try not to hit the button to often. Use what is given to you, and write down what comes to mind; description, a few lines of dialogue, etc. You can also take a few of the ideas and put them together to make a larger story.

Suggestions don't have to be taken literally. If a place is listed as someone's nightmare, it could just as easily be a real nightmare, or a scenario the character has spent their life dreading. Addiction doesn't have to mean mind-altering substances. And death could mean the end of an old way, rather than loss of life. Of course, feel free to use them literally if they work within your story. :-)
