History

  • 1965: Portion from Route 65 to Route 50 added.
  • 1975: Portion from Fair Oaks Boulevard to Route 50 deleted.
  • 1994: Portion from Auburn Boulevard to Fair Oaks Boulevard deleted.

    Notes

    Route 244 is the Auburn Boulevard exit coming off from Route 80 east. It is 1.08 miles long. The deleted portions of Route 244 were unconstructed and no traversable road exists. With Route 143, Route 244 would have served as an eastern loop of Sacramento.
