Scenic Route 50 from Route 49 near Placerville to the Nevada state line near Lake Tahoe. Points of Interest Isn't Lake Tahoe enough of a point of interest? Notes There's the Best Western Cameron Park Inn in Clarksville (El Dorado County). There are a ton of hotels and resorts in South Lake Tahoe, or so, in Nevada's side.
