California's Route 120420. Route 120 is from: (a) Route 5 near Mossdale to the west boundary of Yosemite National Park via the vicinity of Manteca and Oakdale, and via Big Oak Flat and Buck Meadows. Oakwood Lake Resort, right off Route 5 and near the point where Route 120 begins, is a water park with camping facilities. Right between Manteca and Escalon is the Franzia Brothers Winery, which has a tasting room and a picnic area, as well as a retail winery store. The Hershey's Chocolate Company, on 1400 South Yosemite in Oakdale, provides tours and has a visitor center as well. Tuolumne Meadows on Tioga Pass Road (Route 120) provides camping, fishing, backpacking, mountain climbing, and horseriding if by chance you're interested. Ellery and Tioga Lakes in Mono County each provide ten developed campsites as well as boating, fishing, hiking, picnicking, and rock-climbing. North on Junction Campground Road at Ellery Lake is Saddlebag Lake, which provides twenty developed campsites as well as boating, fishing, mountain- climbing, and hiking. Route 120, portion (c), will pass by Mono Lake and the National Forest Scenic Area that comes with it. The route will also skim along the north side of the Toiyabe National Forest.
Route 120 from Oakdale to near Chinese Camp will be sharing signs with Route 108, as this latter route continues on Route 120 to reach its second portion. The route cuts across the Stanislaus National Forest and Yosemite National Park (though not legally). The route is closed during the winter time.
