"What sort of music will you play?�

 My repertoire spans hundreds of years of guitar music and includes a variety of styles including early music, Spanish music, classical music and modern pieces. Please refer to the MUSIC page on this site for examples. I always prefer to discuss the music with you if possible so we can agree a format for the day.

�How long will you play?�

 This depends on your particular requirements. It could be all or part of the following�

• As guests arrive for the ceremony (20/30 minutes)
• During the ceremony (Entrance of Bride, Register signing, Presentation of the newly married couple etc.)
• Drinks reception music
• Wedding meal music

 �Will everyone be able to hear you?�

 Yes. I need to know from you how many guests there will be and  details of the venue to determine what sort of amplification (if any) I will need to bring along.

�Will it be too loud?�

 No! The volume of the guitar will be set to a comfortable level.

�What do you wear?�

 I give you a basic option on my booking form (i.e. black tie/suit and tie/informal etc) but am happy to fit in to your particular dress code for the day.

�How much space do you need to set up?�

 Not a great deal! A chair and a 13amp socket is all I need but speaker stands (if we need them) take up about a square metre of floor space each

�How long will it take you to set up?�

 Usually about 30 minutes

�Can we be sure you will turn up?�

 Yes. Once we have agreed the details, and your deposit is received, the date goes in my diary and on the website as a firm booking. We need to �touch base� a week or so before the day just to confirm that there have been no changes

�Can we choose some of the music?�

 Yes, but  I do ask for plenty of advance warning for specific pieces that are not in my current repertoire particularly if they are to be played at crucial moments during your day.

�Do you play requests?�

 I often get asked for particular pieces of guitar music by the guests during the day and will always oblige if I can! I try to keep most of the popular solo guitar standards in my repertoire

�Have you got any suggestions for special music for the entrance of the Bride etc?�

 I can offer a list suitable pieces for this but it helps to know the �mood� or �atmosphere� you are hoping to create.

�What happens during your break/breaks�

 I can generally play for up to an hour without having to �stretch my legs� and can play background music through my sound system during any breaks

�Can you supply a demo recording?�

 I can supply a demo CD through the post. Alternatively the tracks on this website are all �downloadable� mp3 files

�How much do you charge?�

 Because of all the variables, it is not possible to quote a �blanket� price. Please contact me for a quotation�

�How many other weddings have you played for?�

 I have been a professional musician for some 12 years and have played for hundreds of weddings in that time as well as performing for many formal dinners, restaurant �Spanish� theme evenings etc. Please refer to the Featured Weddings page on this site

�Have you made any CDs?�

 Yes. Details can be found on my other site at www.bobdrury.co.uk

�Would you play a mixture of guitar styles?�

 Whilst most couples request classical or finger style guitar music for their wedding day, I can bring along an electric guitar and play some �classic� guitar solos utilising backing tracks. Please refer to my other site for examples www.bobdrury.co.uk

�Do you sing also?�

 When playing for background music I would not normally sing but I do also work also as a vocalist/guitarist (acoustic or electric) and can include some vocal material if you wish. Please refer to my other site for examples www.bobdrury.co.uk

 �Do we need to send a deposit?�

 Yes please. Details are found via the Booking/Contact page on this site

�Do you supply a contract?�

 The booking form completed by yourselves acts as a contract between us.

�How do we settle the balance?�

 Balance is payable in cash on the day

�Do you know of a Mobile Disco you could recommend?�

 Yes. I am involved with a mobile disco specialising in mixed age group events and ideal for a wedding reception www.boptillyoudrop.co.uk

�Do you hold Public Liability Insurance?�

 Yes, this is provided for me as part of my Musicians Union membership. I can provide details on request

�Is your equipment electrically safe?�

 Yes. My electrical equipment is regularly PAT tested in accordance with latest guidelines

�What if you already have a booking on the day we want you to play?�

 I often perform at two functions on the same day. Travel time and �pack-up/set-up� time has to be taken into account but is often not a problem.

�How long will it take you to pack away?�

 Usually about 30 minutes.

�Do you like us to provide feedback?�

 Yes please! I am always looking to add weddings to my �featured weddings� page but any feedback is always welcomed�
