Before Barangay Imelda is only a part of Barangay Libertad. Its name
before was Saugon. The name Saugon came from a native name of a river.
But the name Saugon was replace into Imelda so that it can be easily 
identified.It was name before Imelda Romualdez Marcos, the Nations 
First Lady at that time.
