Bad Drivers!

These are some of the photographs I have taken from the front seat of my truck. Some may say that it's unsafe to take pictures while driving. I wish I could mount a camera on my head to record some of the things that I see and can't get on film. Reading a newspaper in traffic. Putting on make-up. Drinking a beer!

(Sometimes the thumbnails will not show. Something to do with Yahoo.)
These two guys passed me like I was standing still. The smaller black pickup was no more than four feet from the back bumper of the full size truck when they passed me. They continued up the hill like that at about 140 kph! (88 mph!)
This pile of lumber was jumping around so much that I thought it would fly right off the trailer. The single chain holding it down was more for show than function. I wished I had a video camera for this one!
This accident happened on the 401 next to London, Ontario. As I remember, the news reports said something to the effect that the Michigan woman that was driving, lost control and rolled her SUV several times, ejecting her and some of the children riding inside. I think they died from their injuries. The only occupant wearing a seatbelt, a teenaged girl, stayed in the vehicle and received very minor injuries.
The husband was following in another car and told police they were travelling around 140 kph. (88 mph). Traffic was routed off the highway and was backed up for miles.
