News Archive October 2002 10.31.02 Crazie Castro So it's Halloween and since I've never gone to Castro before...I decide to go. Castro is this district in SF that's full of gay ppl so I hear. I go with Patty, Jenny, and Jerry. We decide to take the BART. Let me say I'm never taking the BART there again. If I ever go again I think I'd like to drive. So we get there and it's pretty damn crowded. They've got a bunch of streets all blocked off. And there are mad ppl all around. And yes it's reallie crazie there. There were parties goin on in houses and lots of crazy stuff. There were also some tite ass costumes. This one borg guy had an arm with prongs and the prongs could move and he also had a light he could turn on and off. So we're just walkin around and shit...checking out everything. It gets to be around 11ish so we decide to start to head back. The MUNI we took to Castro was soo freakin packed. After waiting like 30 mins they say the MUNI is closed down cause there are too many ppl there and it's dangerous. So we dunno what to do now. We stand around for another 30 mins trying to figure if we'll make the BART home. So I finally end up gettin us a cab and we go back to the BART. Now the ride home was no fun either. SOOOO Packed. And fuckin ppl swear they can fit in when there was reallie no more room. We got back and ate at Thai Noodle. Then home to finish up freakin e190...my sleep schedule is so fucked this week. 10.27.02 Ass Proj So it's back to Soda and I'm about to give up on this stupid project...but luckily I finish up just at around turn in time...of course it's slow as hell cause our code isn't optimized...but it werks..which is all that matters. Plus I still need to do the e190 paper...bah. 10.26.02 Joyce Drinks So other than being in Soda there was a little get together at Joyce's apt for her and Nelson's bday. It was pretty fun. Lots of Smash Bros, Taboo, and Mafia. Joyce actually had a good number of shots too =D Whoo hoo! Hehe we stayed there till about 4am. But actually that's 3am cause of daylight savings hehe. On the way back some random and I think high girl from Cloyne was talking to me from a second floor window. It was...interesting haha. I also saw some deer outside of Soda. Well I was up till about 7am last nite helping a friend out with a paper...not reallie even helping so much as keeping on task haha. So yea I crashed there and woke up to a parking ticket...bleh parking tickets are so annoying...Other than that it's a long ass day in Soda for me... 10.23.02 BA Midterm II Nothing really exceptional today. I took my 2nd BA midterm...which i actually forgot about until yesterday. That's no good. But it was ok and I think I did well enough. Haha maybe I should start goin to class...naw. Also starting next 184 proj. Scanlines...seems kinda confusing. Bleh. 10.21.02 Happy Bday Joyce!!! Unfortunately it's Monday so no drinking...just wait till the weekend. 10.20.02 Cache Creek So I plan on just staying at home after the UCLA game but Ray IMs me and I end up goin to Cache Creek. Haha overall it was pretty fun. I ended up losing my 20 dollars and fought the urge to bust out another 20 haha. It reallie is addicting. I'm afraid someday I'll let loose too much haha. We got back at like 5...at which time I started watching Slam Dunk. Haha woke up at 3pm the next day and started to finish my 184 assignment...bleh SLIDE files suck ass. 10.19.02 2 New Links =) One is an old picture of the woman element and the other is a tite ass article about the ladder theory. 10.19.02 OMG OMG GOOO BEARS!!!! I will let you read about it but it was pimp. 2 fumbles recoveries, 1 interception, 1 kick block, 1 stop at the 2 yard line for us...this is after one of the punt blocks. 10.18.02 Happy Bday Mike Lee (Troph), Jason Fu, and Mi Madre Happy Birthday to Everyone!!! So many ppl =D So as usual Wung supplied the place and some alky =) Good shit Wung ^_^ The party was reallie tite. Lots of people, drinking, video games =) There are pictures of course at my photo album Yes Mike Lee you must stop smoking. You couldn't even blow out your candles haha. Also, perhaps I saw a glimpse of the death of wungism? More on that when I have more evidence hehe. 10.16.02 Project and Midterms So we started the new proj today. It seems kinda ghey. But oh well. I also think I'm gettin more addicted to WarCraft 3. 10.12.02 Rice Rice Baby So once again I embark to Soda. Finding that De La Salle (some reallie good HS football team) is playin in our stadium parkin was shit. I ended up parkin at a 30 minute meter...meaning I had to run out too many times. We had a reallie ghey bug...actually we had lots of ghey bugs. Good thing CK is good at findin these kinds of things out. So I went to Theatre Rice with Joyce and Denis. Good shit as always =) Funnie stuff but some stuff that also makes you think. I especially liked the Martha Stewart Dates Iron Chef Guy Skit =D Afterwards we chilld at Wung's and watched a Steven Chow movie, he's the guy in Shaolin Soccer =) We saw Love on Delivery. Reallie funnie shit. Then we watched them play WarCraft 3 for a time. Wung's so happy when he wins haha. 10.11.02 The Transporter...Good but it lacks... So today I ditched BA discussion to code some. Which is all good cause I got some shit done. Planned to go see The Transporter later in the evening. So we had Carl's Jr. and then off to the film! Well first let's talk about the good stuff. Lots of reallie damn nice cars and driving...check. Kewl fighting ala Jackie Chan...check. Hot asian porn...i mean previous porn star...check. Rocket blocking as advertised via TV commercials...che...wait a minute...NOT CHECK!!! So if you expect to see it don't expect to see it. The rest of the movie is reallie funnie tho. The Chinese actress couldn't reallie speak English so I think she just memorized the sounds and said them. So she prollie needed more Chinese lines with subtitles. Too bad the movie had no subtitles at all, which I might not be such a big dis-service to all the non speakers. This is because there was no real plot development. The girl tried to tell a story, but due to the transporter's nature and the fact that the girl prollie couldn't speak English plot was never reallie developed. This just leaves some reallie absurd things that happen in the movie for an all together funnie and enjoyable movie...if you like cars, guns, explosions, and women 10.11.02 Lazy So my friend mentioned that I haven't updated this in a bit. Which is true hehe my bad. So let's do a quick recap. Well Dae eventually had to go...sigh. We had a nice dinner at 168 tho and then afterwards we went to eat at Cold Stone haha. TOo much ice cream for me this week =P It was good chillin and talkin. School-wise I had a decent amount of stuff due. Stupid 184 take home quiz wasn't as bad as the first, but still hard. I ended up wakin up late so there goes 10 points. So ghey. I was pretty pissed at myself for doin that. Overall I've been pretty lazy. Still have the proj to finish. I think imma do that tomorra so I can Rice this weekend =) 10.5.02 Dae Day I had lunch with Patty today and then started to waste my day reading Hunter X Hunter manga and playing Warcraft 3. Of course I should be doin my cs proj or writing my E190 paper. Anyways, my good friend Dae is up at Cal for a lil bit so we call up the old floor gang and go chill at Mel's for a bit o food and stuff. Then off to Steve's where there were some arousing games of Set and Taboo =) Taboo brought some interesting results...haha it was fun =) Oh btw, we beat the Washington Huskies =D Go Bears! 10.4.02 One Hour Photo...or not So finally Friday. After finding out I did horrendously on the BA midterm I got a couple of games of ball in and had dinner at Wung's place. As usual Wung your cooking was excellent. Danke danke. AFter that Fu, Chi, Patty, Jerry, and I went off to watch One Hour Photo...except the place we went to wasn't playing it. We tried all around Berkeley and didn't find it. So off to Emeryville...yes...no sold out! Haha so we go off to have Coldstone. Learned a new secret way to 99 from Berkeley. haha it was kewl =) Learned that I should always get a small in a waffle cone haha. 10.3.02 I taste good! So I had dinner with Patty tonite. She bought a Jones drink. Jones is a brand of drink and I think they make weird drinks...anyways, one of their flavors is Dave. That's me! Let's see what it says   
We've always wanted to call a beverage Dave and we couldn't think of a better Dave than green tea with hemp. Dave is calm but not boring. Hemp is a cource of omega-3 fatty acids, not bad for a week. Along with ginseng and royal jelly, we put together a green tea with personality. Be Chilled. Run with the little guy...create some change. Haha anywayz it's kewl =) 10.1.02 Crazy Black Woman! So Patty and I went to eat somethings later at nite like 9 or 10 so we go to Koryo BBQ. On the way there there's a part where you merge then have to turn left. So I merge and there's a car comin on my left so I signal and start to move to the left lane. The car on the left doesn't slow down and instead keeps honking me. So I turn into the koryo area and the car follows me and it's some crazy ass Black lady screaming at me. She's yelling and saying that I almost hit her car...of course she doesn't mention that it'd be her hitting the back of my car. So I say I signaled and she's like no you just jumped in and cut me off, then she goes on to add you should be glad I'm a Christian. So now I'm thinking...or else what? She's like you better stop drivin like that otherwise someone's gonna shoot you...now I dunno but as a Christian I'm kinda peeved that she says you better be glad I'm a Christian. Patty of course is like...that's a Christian? I mean wow...that's just such a bad reflection on Christians everywhere when something like that happnens. Not because she was yelling and stuff cause everyone does that. The fact that she said you better be glad I'm a Christian...it's as if she's saying I'm so good for just yelling at you...I mean that's bullshit! Anywayz this is my story and I'm still quite shocked by her words. I did finally try Soon Tofu in Nor Cal =P |
