News Archive May 2001 5.29.01 Back in Berk Wow...ok. Been away at home for a week. Dial up sucks ass. And um...what else. Bought some nice stuff at South Coast. Chilled with my pals. All in all not a bad week. Finally met Evey =) HI! But now I'm back in Berk doin work and summer skewl. 5.18.01 Drinkin with the boyz Thank Goodness I don't get hangovers...oy! New lesson learned. I had 1 small meal the whole day and went drinkin with a VERY empty stomach...not good. new personal FACT: having an empty stomach cuts drinking effeciency by 1/2. 10-12 shots and I'm kinda pukin...weaksauce =� But...I'M DONE WITH FINALS!!!! YEA!!!! 2nd year at Cal SUCK IT! 5.18.01 GOOOO STEVE! In other news Steve finally lands a job for the summer! Hellz yea! We can go cause ruckus all summer long now =) 5.18.01 Round 3 Outcome Eh...not bad. Both sides fought well. The edge came out with cs162 slightly on top, but we'll see the final scores later =) 5.17.01 Round 3! CS vs CS! Since TKD Dave was out resting CS Dave codename [sp99]MoFo has stepped up. When asked why he took on this fight with so little time training this semester he said, "CS is my specialty...I spearheaded the 61c operation last semester. I can take on 162..." Hope this goes well. This opponent has run Team Dave ragged this semester. We'll see who wins in the end. 5.15.01 Icy Hot Stuntaz Parody site! man...It must suck to be those 3 white kids rite about now...>=) Check out this parody site. Thanx to my cutie for the heads up on the hack. 5.15.01 Round 2 Outcomes UPDATED! OMG...It didn't rape me! YAY! 5.15.01 Round 2 Outcomes Sorry for the late postings everyone. TKD Dave was brutally slaughtered by EE20. I've never seen such a match up. TKD Dave got some good hits in but EE20 ignored it and plowed right through...I'm surprised TKD Dave is still alive, but he doesn't give up. What about the next round? What will happen?...I'm not sure but I'll keep eveyrone posted. 5.14.01 Next Round! EE20 vs. TKD Dave In 1.5 hrs we'll have another great battle folks. EE20 has shown some real sprit after that beating it took earlier this year. TKD Dave has no idea how to counter the new moves since the first midterm. Let's just hope he's got enuff in him to make it outta this one... 5.12.01 First Fight Outcomes This first fight of the series was a long and hard battle. TKD Dave came in kickin and managed to score some good hits. It looked like a sure win for a while. Then Math 55 busted out some wack shit. TKD Dave was utterly speechless and defenseless. In the end there was no definitive winner...this one will be left up to the judges to decide...after this long grueling battle CS 162 took some cheap shots. TKD Dave went to review up on his CS 162 opponent right after the Math 55 battle, then off to hell to do some Networkin on CS162...tough day, well fought. 5.11.01 First line up...MATH 55 VS. TKD Dave TKD Dave has been studying Math 55's old moves until the early morn in preparation for this bout. Math 55 and TKD Dave have had some nice bouts in the past. First Round definitive win to TKD Dave after a review by the judges (GSI). Round 2 was very unclear...But due to the rules of this deathmatch game, all past losses can be made up in this last fight...It's all or nothing! Ishokenmei! Tatakai! 5.11.01 And the games begin again... Well...It's that time...everyone is freakin out and studyin. Yes....it's that tortuous ritual...FINALS! I've spent a good time tonite cramming for the first battle...Math 55...evil..evil. Here's this year's line up...it doesn't look good. Due to earlier battles with CS 162 Coutner Strike Expert sp[99]MoFo and Hankido expert HKD Kyo have been completly consumed. Math 55 - Probability killer and all around badass EE 20 - Tools include Matlab, Fourier Series, and Convolution CS 162 - Just call me life sucker! >=) 5.10.01 Old Games Revived but I'm Locked Out Sup Everyone. I started off the first day of studying for finals by cleaning my room, eating out for a friend's b-day. Happy B-Day MING! BAPPY B-DAY LYDIA!!! and playing an old game...tetrinet. SO FUN! Hehe also I was locked out and had to wake my roommate up at 1. He sleeps way early so by 1 he was already asleep, sorrie Sean. But I now realize Berkeley is one place I'd rather not be stuck outside. =) 5.9.01 Last Day of School! Ah the final day of school has passed. Remember the good days in high school when last day was all fun and chill. Hehe well you're grown up and in college now! No more final days like that. Now the final day marks the mad cramming/worrying state that finals bring. Ah well...all that's left for me is to do finish this last damned project and battle the finals. More in the coming week so stay tuned... 5.8.01 Allergies! Who knew it could be so bad? Looks like summer's finally aorund the corner. I can feel the heat...unfortunately so can my eyes. Gah...I know many of you out there are experiencing the same thing. Tkae care and rest up! Laterz ^_^ 5.7.01 BBQ Baby! BBQ at Will's on Sunday was tite! Will once again you show us your superior cookin. Steak and chicken were tender and so good. Great party man. 5.6.01 Evangelion...family TV and Bad Ass White Guyz Browsing through channels and found Evangelion on a PBS type public TV channel. Kinda weird...I mean, Evangelion isn't really family TV. Anywayz looks like that absurd site icyhotstunaz is back up for ridicule. They brag about hits...but they don't realize it's cause everyone's makin fun of them or lookin at their website to laugh at them...Check it out =� Thanks to Eric for the link. 5.5.01 TKD Testing today Ah TKD testing. Goin for the Yellow-Green. Went ok actually. Hopefully there'll be no problem and I'll be movin on up ^_^ New CS stats, bleh. 5.5.01 Angelic Layer! New anime by Clamp called Angelic Layer. Kinda like a mix of pokemon and some mecha anime. There's are high tech dolls called angels and people use to fight. They work only on a surface called an Angelic Layer and can somehow feel what the owner wants it to do. Only on ep 3, but looks like good stuff. Oh yea, I hate Soda, not the drink. 5.3.01 Secret Society Of...Soda? The monotony of Soda was broken as some of my friends came down into Soda to visit us. Oe of them interviewed us for her Anthro Paper. We were the subjects of her intensive study of "Soda Life" hehe...riite life. Anywayz hopefully she will give me permission to use parts of her paper. I think it'll give a lot of you a nice laugh at us EECS majors. 5.1.01 Wow...skewl's almost done Wow, next week no more ee lab, no more ba dis...it's really gettin to finals time. Hehe on another note. I'm officially signed up for 0 units so far haha. My major is so impacted... =� |
