News Archive March 2002 3.21.02 Last Day Before Spring Break! Well today I went to class...kinda. Got my 170 midterm back...beat mean w00t! Hehe, spent a good amount of time in Soda. I found out my last 186 project had some bug. The TA sent me an email on the 17th but I didn't see it till today...shiet! I hope it's still all good...ah wellz...laundry room is all pretty full...need to wash clothes! 3.20.02 Warcraft 3! Well I was supposed to do soda shit tonite. But...haha Gee Won and myself ended up installing Warcraft 3 on my laptop. Haha my laptop's crappy Vid card can run it but has a tough time sometimes hehe. Got back 186 midterms...did ok. Beat mean...barely bleh stupid class. Stupid pop quizzes he's gonna give...stupid! 3.16.02 Aftermath Ok so I wake up at Wung's place on a trash bag and with a trash can next to me...hehe you can guess as well as I that I had a bit too much...about 25-27 shots too much that is haha. Yea apparently I puked for 40 mins or so. Thanx for lettin my friends and I crash at your place Wung, and thanx for the party dood. Love all you guys who came =) Hehe special thanx to Cindy for takin care of me while I was way down and out haha...Anyways today I spent recouping. Went to Gee-Won's place to work on some 186...didn't get much done. But I did get to finally see WarCraft 3 in action. It's tiiite. Haha. 3.15.02 Party! I found out my grade for my 170 midterm by eamilin my TA. I actually got above mean haha w00t!!! Ray, Mike Fu, Mike Lee, Jack, Dennis, Wung, Nelson, and I went out to eat to celebrate my 21st bday-ness. After a bout of figuring out where to eat we decided to eat at Koryo Sushi again hehe. The waitress actually recognizes me since this is the 3rd time in 2 weeks. Haha so it's all good. Food was damn good as usual =) Afterwards Wung made a run to safeway to get some more alcohol and of course I bought it haha. Then there's the party at Wung's. Haha it was tite. I brought my kendo stick at Wung's request. We had the great Kevin teach us some haha. I didn't think it was a good idea to bring a big stick to a house full of drunks...but whatever =) Thanx for all the booze dood! Hehe I remember drinkin a whole lot and when Patty and Cindy and all them got there I had too much haha...don't reallie remember the last part of the nite =P 3.14.02 Morton's! Sunaree treated me out to Morton's today! It was a pretty nice steak place in SF. My steak was a bit rare when I got it so I had them cook it more. I also ordered a Long Island Iced Tea ~_^ Hehe...good stuffs =) This weekend looks all full of partying...gah when am I gonna be able to do hw? 3.12.02 Happy 21st Me! Boo Midterm So...It's my 21st bday haha =D It was reallie kewl. I got calls and IM's from a lot of peepz back home and up here =) Thanx to everyone who wished me a happy bday =) Love you all. Haha the 186 midterm...not so good. It was 2.5 hrs long, and in the middle of the test it became a 3 hr test...aka a final. And it was absurdly difficult. Ah wellz. He also made the next proj due 2 days after we get back from spring break...oh yea. He wants to "introduce something new in the second half of the semester called...SURPRISE EXAMS IN CLASS!!!" Haha you kno how well that went over. Gah...this guy is killin me. 3.11.02 Bleh... Studyin for test sux0r. I think he's makin this test so long to get back at us for not showing up for his lectures. Any longer and it's a final...sigh stupid teach. 3.9.02 UC Open So I woke up at 6 am to go setup the Concessions for UC Open. We did that till 10:30 ish then I was doin random things all day. Mostly security stuff. I did get to deposit 1000 dollars for UC MAP, it's funnie cause the 1000 shows up as me paying for fees haha. A lot of good fighting today. Got to see Efren kick the crap outta someone. It's the only time I've ever seen someone give up in a TKD match. 3.8.02 Poker Nite So Sunaree went to LA to interview regents people. Mike had a lil get together with some of the guys to play poker. I was supposed to go at 7:00, but it turns out that setting up for the UC Open went till around 8. So we didn't start playin till like 9 or so. It was fun, I learned all kinds of new poker games...and I came out 3 bux richer =) Kai was pretty funnie, he had no idea what he was doing so I think he made it his duty to try to raise the pot. For a 5 dollar buy in that's not bad hehe. Anyways, it kicked ass, we should do this again sometime guys =) 3.6.02 CS170 Midterm It wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be...I mean it was hard yes. But I was expecting to be reallie reallie raped. Instead I'm just, kinda raped =) Ah but done with that, hehe now just 1 more to go! 3.3.02 Hardcore again?...again? You have no idea how hard it was to get up after sleeping at 5am...Anyways, I had brunch with Sunaree at Pasand. Indian buffet things. It was pretty good stuff. Then back to lab =P...see a theme for this weekend...gah I still have 170 hw to do and I gotta study for my midterm...fuck. Well I do have one good thing. An article about why you chose engineering and why you're gonna stick with it...and no it's not cause it's too late. ^_^ 3.2.02 Hardcore again? So I went to a SAGE meeting at 10 and then Soda at 12. Actually since funding to education got cut SAGE was affected. Now we get less money than we used to. But I guess that's the only way to survive. bleh...Today I actually went to Soda from 12-5 am...sux. The proj is actually a lot harder than I thought. Bah, well I got about 1/2 the proj up and running rite now. I'm hopin to finish tomorra. 3.1.02 BA Midterm Part 2 Ok so once again =P It was pretty ok. I made some bad errors...so we'll see how the results are. Once again off to Soda to work on teh proj. Today I left at 9 tho. Went to go see 40 Days and 40 Nights. It was a pretty funnie movie. Kinda absurd but funnie. I mean there are never that many hot girls workin everywhere. And lots of titty too. =) 2.28.02 Happy BDay Sean! Well Sean's turned 21 =D Hehe We went out to eat at Raleigh's. Sean even ordred one of their barely alcoholic beverages aka Pear Cider. Which was good =) After that I went off to Soda to work on 186...seems like a pain. Ah wellz |
