News Archive January 2002 1.30.02 Slacker! Ok so slacker is me! I didn't get into the CS160 class like I wanted to. So jacked...sigh. Oh well. So yea, I'm gonna be in 3 classes, kendo, and a self pace C++ thing. My schedule is pretty light so far this semester. Super Bowl Sunday is comin up so I hope everyone's gonna watch =) Summer internship hunting is also in season. I go to these Career Fairs now w/o fear that I will get turned away since I'm a junior...but this year it seems like everyone isn't reallie hiring...so who knows what summer has in store for me. Bleh until next time =) Oh btw I have another interesting thought thing 1.25.02 First Week of Skewl Hmm ok so let's recap some of these past days. We took Dae to Macaroni Grill for eats. Way out there in Milipitas but boy is it good =) Hehe. Yea ok so back in skewl. A lot of my teachers are kinda boring this semester. That kinda sux. I ended up dropping BA 188 and CS 184. I should have gotten my proof of registration before dropping them...cause rite now I have 11.5 units which makes me 1/2 time student...sigh. CS160 seems pretty kewl. Only problem is that I dunno if I can get in. I wanted to do EE 192 but I didn't go the first day and they already chose groups...I mean how hardcore is that. Kundo is pretty skewl so far. Hopefully we'll get to spar some in that class =D Oh yea, my main comp is busted. So I'm gonna be usin my other comp for a bit. Lucky for me I moved a lot of my important stuff over a couple days ago. hmm...8am classes suck. And I have one tomorra...so I shall retire now. I'll try to keep this thing updated more often. Hehe hectic week tho. You know how it is. At least I got my first 186 hw done. Oh yea one last side note. The 186 Midterm is 5:30-8PM on my bday. Hehe sux huh...Happy 21st bday to me =P 1.21.02 Party...whee! Ok so wassup everyone. I'm finally back. I haven't forgotten...just got lazy =) Over break Naree came down. It was kewl. We went to go eat a lot =P The drive up was not too bad. There wasn't any traffic or stuff. The thing I realized when I got up here is just how much colder it is up here. Down south it was nice. I mean nice =) Blah blah blah. The SAGE reception was ok. I met some people. I actually have to mentor 3 of them. Hehe we'll see how that goes. I got my grades back. I got soo jacked. This semester has got to be the worst one for me. But it's over now. Onto the next one! I got to see i am sam in a sneak preview at Century Theatres. It was a good movie. A real tear jerker and funnie too. I won't give anything away but I'd say go see it. Sunaree got back last nite from home. Her friend Stacy came too. She tried to call me but I forgot my cell. Sean, Dae, Sid, Mike, and I went to Indian Rock and Tilden Park yesterday. Indian Rock was pretty kewl. Nice view and stuff. Tilden Park is actually reallie big. We went down and skipped rocks at the lake. Also got a lot of pics of Mike up in trees. On the way back up we couldn't find our car. So semi-lost, we walked down the road. Luckily we found it w/o any problems hehe. We had a dinner at Chevy's and then chilled for a bit. Went to Wung's last nite to drink too. Hehe. Crazy shit. Lots of people in there. 1/2 were his roommate's friends. They were kewl tho. Slut got totally faded...actually a lot of people did hehe =) When the pictures come out I'll try to put some of them up. Ah...today is so rainy. I wonder what we'll do for Dae's dinner tonite. |
