News Archive February 2003 2.28.03 Happy Bday Sean! So we went to eat at Claim Jumper's tonite. Just Kai, Sean, Steve, Mike, and me. We got seated at a table for 8 and they wanted us to move to a table of 6 so they gave us a free appetizer. We got the appetizer combo. It was good ish haha and free! Ore Cart was changed up. Instead of beef ribs they gave cuts of tritip or something. It was pretty good overall tho =) Went back to Steve's and played some Smash Bros and chilled. I went back home and then headed out to a Hapa party for a bit. Patty and Bahn and some other APO ppl were there but we left and ate at Denny's. I then stayed up till 8am playing C&C Generals...gah. Bad idea borrowing that game from Steve. 2.17.03 End of a 3 Day Weekend Pretty fun weekend =) Went to the Chinatown Parade with Patty and Jason. Woulda been nicer if it wasn't so darn rainy that day hehe. Also had dinner at Patty's place =) Lobster and Filet Mignon ^^ Thanks Patty =) Saw DareDevil with Patty, Sean, and Jason too. It was only playing at the Emeryville 10 and not at the Bay St AMC..musta been some kinda deal they had. At least we got free medium popcorns hehe. Still too much popcorn for 1 person if you ask me. Chilled at Naree's place after the movie. Didn't reallie do too much hehe. I decided to skip the pot this time =P Monday I met up with Em from UCI hehe ^^ It was pretty chill. Went to Ironwerks with Patty and Jason and Em. Afterwards Em and I chilled around berk lookin for some Adidas shoes she wanted. We went to go try that Mondo Gelato place too. It's pretty good. Too many fancy flavors to choose from tho haha. Ah a nice chill weekend. I like =D 2.14.03 Happy/Unhappy Valentine's Day! Been a while huh =) Happy Vday or Unhappy Vday however u see it. I watched How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days last nite with Kai, Michelle, Bahn, Ben, and Alice. Hehe of course I did this instead of doin my Chinese essay/homeworks haha. oh well. The movie was pretty amusing. Not as funnie as it was hyped to be for me tho. Still pretty amusin hehe. Got our stupid 192 proj to werk too. Apparently we had a messed up servo and our motor kinda broke...so it was a pain in the ass. But all good done now hehe. 2.8.03 Party @ Steve's Kai had a party tonite. It was pretty kewl. Mostly NorCal VW and APO ppl haha. A couple drunkards...including kai haha. Had me do a 151 shot for roommate shots...ug...so bad. My stomach was melting. Afterwards I went to Joyce's place to hang out with Jeremy, Slut, Joyce, Anna, Karen, and their other roommate. They were all playin Texas Hold'em so I joined in for a loss of 3 to 4 bux haha. All good tho. Had a cold earlier this week but it's almost gone now...thank goodness. 2.2.03 Happy 22nd Bday Steve! Went to SF for Steve's bday lunch thing. We went to this place called Jax. It's rite across from Macy's. The food was ok. Prices were pretty good tho. THe atmosphere was kinda fun. Was like eatin in a hunting hall. There were stain glass windows with different kinds of animals including some random mystical ones like unicorns. At nite I went over to Wung's and had dinner with some ppl for Chinese New Year's. It was kewl, had steak, chicken, wontons, and tang-yuan (those rice ball type things). 2.1.03 Happy Chinese New Year's Everyone =) Well since no drinking occurred like it was supposed to I spent the day burning a lot of anime off my comp. Later I had dinner at some Thai place called Khan Toke. There were no dancers like I was told. Somehow I feel cheated. Food was ok tho. Went back to Steve's place later that nite and watched XXX. We wanted to play a drinking game but that didn't reallie go either. It was all good tho. I got to talk to Mike's gf Mari-chan. All she reallie did was laugh at me tho...even tho she said my jap was decent haha. |
