News Archive December 2002 12.25.02 Merry Christmas Merry Xmas Everyone! I wish you all have the best! 12.24.02 Family I went to Palace for about 5 hours today...omg too much video gaming. Got a Lancer Evo III for Initial D and got ok at drivin it. Hehe anywayz, that's not the important thing about tonite. Tonite I went to my Dad's cousin's restaurant to eat. It was in celebration of the 1st birthday of someone's kid. He will be the only male to carry on the Chu name I think. It was kewl. Ate lots of kewl food and met a lot of cousins that I hadn't seen in about 7 or 8 years. We caught up on a lot of stuff. They look different from when we were all little and playing together, but we could still recognize them. My Dad and his cousins and brothers are all reallie tite. I think he wanted us to be the same way and in a way I think it would've been kewl if we were as close to our cousins as my Dad is to his. But it's not like it's too late =) 12.23.02 Shopping... Didn't do much today. Went shopping at South Coast and Metro. Got a couple things for some ppls =) Then I went to my Aunt's new place to help her move some furniture around. Went to Palace to get another Initial D card for a Lan-Evo hehe. That's about it =) It's so nice to relax. 12.22.02 Church Potluck Had to wake up early to send Mike and his mom to LAX today. They're goin to Japan, then HK, then Taiwan hehe. Robert coudn't go cause he has a bowl game in Vegas. Sigh...if the tickets were transferrable I could be goin to Japan for a week too...sigh. Too bad =P Church had potluck today...I love those soo good. ^^ Played yahoo pool with Joyce...I was gonna win when I fell asleep hehe...She's not gonna play online games with me anymore I think ^^ 12.21.02 More Two Towers! Went to Best Buy to get some stuff today cause Jason was werking. Went saw the line and left hahaha. It's crazy this time of year. After that a bunch of church ppl came over and watched Minority Report cause Mike rented it but was leaving for Japan tomorra. I left my place early to get in line for Two Towers. We got decent seats and Mike and the rest of them got to the theatre just in time. It's good the 2nd time too =) I played some scrabble online with Joyce...I fell asleep =P Sorry >.< 12.20.02 Home =) Got home at 12 pm today. So I just unpacked my stuff and chilled a bit. Went to visit Mike after some lunch at my Grandma's place. We went to Youth Group, which was dinner at Auntie Grace's restaurant. Good good =) Played a lil CStrike and went home hehe. 12.19.02 House of Prime Rib!!! So Michelle, Denise, Kai, Sean and I went to House of Prime Rib to feast tonite. It was gooooood. Michelle drove Kai's WRX to SF =) Good job too. Only stalled 2.5 times =D After that we went to Jillian's but that was dead so we drove in search of Kelly's Mission Rock. It actually took a while to find. We had to ignore some Road Closed signs hehe. Eventually we found it tho. Too bad there was a long line and it was raining...In the process we did find this reallie empty parking lot where Kai pulled a few G's haha. It was fun sliding around in the rain. We eventually went back to Berk and chilled at Vikram's party for a bit. Happy 23rd man! Was supposed to go drinking with CK a bit tonite, but an impomptu visit from her LA friends killed that plan. Hehe it's kewl, next time CK =) After that we went back to Kai's empty apartment and watched The Ring (Japanese Version) Joyce came and joined us too =) Frankly I was expecting a scarier movie. But it was pretty good. Random ending just cuts off tho. The girls decided they wanted to watch "story pr0n." This is pr0n, with a story...go figure. Kai's closest thing was something...kinda like a catalogue I guess...Just featured like 4 or 5 girlz doin their thing. I only stayed awake for the first one and woke up intermittently for the next couple =P I dropped off all the ladies then went home to pack. It's about 4:30 am now. I pack up and decide to wake Sean for the trip home cause I don't wanna deal with monring traffic. We leave by 6 am and make it home by 12 pm. Very good time hehe. 12.18.02 All Done! Lord of the Rings kicked much ass. So today I spent doing nothing =) I went to a party later that nite with Kai and some of his friends. It ended up being another APO party. From now on if Kai doesn't know who's party it is...imma assume it's APO. It was kewl tho. Met some new ppl. Afterwards went to Denny's with Bahn, David, and Kai. Good stuff. 12.17.02 Finals Wow so it's been a while. It's been finals time and I've been really busy. My BA final was so ass. It was random shit. Stat 2...come on. I left 1/2 way in. I think it went well. Lots of reallie late nites studying stuff. Went to study a lot with Denis, Joyce, and CK this week. CK borrowed her friend's car to go study at Barnes and Nobles yesterday. When she got here the car wouldn't start. So I got to jump start a car for the first time. It was educational. Today was spent trying not to think about 184. 8am...blah. At least I'll be done. Got my ticket for Lord of the Rings 12am 17th!!! W00T!!! It's been uber rainy recently. Makes for dreary weather, but it's kinda fun to drive in...if only I had a nicer car =) Oh wellz. Time for bed. Wish me luck! 12.4.02 Crunch Time If you couldn't tell...this week is very busy for me. I have my 184 final proj, my e190 paper, and Chinese shit. Not to mention I forgot about my Stat2 quiz yesterday. Guess I'll have to drop that one. Apparently there's also a BA quiz on Friday. So the past 3 nights I've been goin to bed after 5am. Today was no different...as you can see it's already around 7am on the 5th and I'm still awake...bleh. I hate SLIDE and tcl...The Chinese test today was ok...I think. Mostly I'm just worried about the proj. I've done a lot of the e190 paper by pullin these late nites. I'm hopin to finish soon. Once Denis and I can get some more points on the 184 I can concentrate on e190 more. I feel reallie cheated this semester in 184 tho...I didn't learn how to use OpenGL and C++ like the previous semesters...instead I learn this SLIDE crap. bah...actually I was in lab for about 11 hrs today...that sux =) ooh I found a kewl game. Yea yea I kno...But too much shit this week...cs184 proj, e190 paper, Chinese Wed and Fri. bah! Went to lab today. Didn't get much done. I kno I need to do well...but the motivation is just gone. Kai was trying to invite me to have steak at their place today, but guess what...I was in Soda. Thanx for the invite Kai. I appreciate it =) Now it's home to do e190...bah! 12.1.02 Back to Berk... Church in the morning. Chilled a bit after Church then headed home to do some laundry and start packin...My sis didn't get home till 4 so we were running late. Got to my Grandma's later than I wanted to. Hehe she made more food for us all. I said bye to my aunt and grandma then we headed to the restaurant to say bye to my dad, aunt, and uncles. Sux I won't get to see my uncle in Montana for another couple years I think...We got the the airport 1 hr before my flight. Which ended up bein plenty of time. The flight was fast. I slept through the part where they ask you about drinks tho. So I didn't get one =� Joyce volunteered to pick me up =D She Rawks! So I treated her to dinner at Ichiban. I've never eaten there before but it's not bad. Koryo is still #1 for sushi tho hehe. |
