News Archive April 2001 4.30.01 Concrete Canoe Takes First! What can I say? Berkeley kicks fuckin ASS! hahaha 4.29.01 Welcome back Concrete Canoe! Today the crazy people from Berkeley's Concrete Canoe Team return after 2. Hope you showed them what Cal can do! 4.29.01 Lambda's, Redline, and once again no sleep Hehe ok. So this time the no sleep is my fault. I've been up for 22hrs now. The redline party at Cow Palace, hosted by Climax Entertainment was pretty dope. Some interesting shit to say tho. First off is the ride to the place. Haha I'd like everyone to know that Eric has the smallest Bladder in the world. We had to stop by 4 gas stations to find a bathroom...but they were all closed! haha, in the end he pee'd off somewhere in the bushes...shady =� Party was good cept those couple brawls that started up. Some crazy cage dancers...dayam =� Stayed up at a friend's place and chatted about all random things. Jerkin off and pledgin and shit =) Interesting nite all in all...I'm tired now. Laterz all. 4.28.01 Ruckus Crew @ Hot Import Daze I have decided that Kai, Bahn and I are the ruckus crew. We headed out to San Mateo to check out Hot Import Daze today with some other peepz. Saw some pretty tite carz + some ladies =� I've never seen so much G-String and ass =) Thanx goes out Noah Kagan at EverSpeed for hookin us ups with the passes in =) One comment I'd like to make tho. Hehe these things are not only full of car enthusiasts but also with guyz droolin over girlz. Hehe find some girlz dressed up scandalously (which wasn't hard to find), stick a website sticker on them and have them stand around. you'll have guyz pawin to get pics in minutes. I guarantee hehe I just thought that was funnie. Looks like it could lead to bugs all over...sigh. I have been busy recently...watching anime =) Finished Trigun by watchin today and yesterday and finished Hand Maid May earlier this week. Hand Maid May gets the automatic kewl rating cause the main character is an EE student...AND he's pimp! hehe =� 4.22.01 New Nickname? hehe due to my actions at Jenny and Jack's bday party I have a new nickname...I wonder if it's gonna stick..hmm. They call me...Chaser... =) Not bad eh? hehe. I was takin my shots and having a vodka/cream soda/Kaluha drink for a chaser. Hehe I kept askin people to use it as a chaser cause it was Soo good =� Actually I thought it wasn't that good...but it started tastin better as the nite went on =D I even got people to drink it too hehe. Ahh...that was fun ^_^ 4.20.01 I HATE CS! But I like Brenda and Lena =) Ah...Once again I come home to the sound of the morning birds chirping. The buses have started up again and we still can't pass 2 tests...THIS SUX. Thanx to those 2 special girls who were the first 2 to sign my ghetto guest book! Take carez ladies =) 4.20.01 Ghetto Berkeley Berkeley asserts its ghetto self again this week. In the past 2 nights I have been approached by 3 homeless people. Each with a different tactic. Last nite, 4/18 at 1:30 am I was approached by a homeless person. He told me his life story...nice guy, but he kept talkin...family...job at FedEx...11.21 an hr...drug addict clean 4 yrs. I mean this is all good, but first off who knows if he's lying I mean I've met a person last semester with the same story cept that time it was at 8am...I think it was same guy. He wanted one large amt of money in the 20s range. tonite at 3:30 while in a car with cs proj group. While waitinmg for food at drive throgh approached by 2 homeless people. First one very confrontational. He apparently wanted a 5 dollar bill in exchange for 3 dollars in quarters...um...no. 2nd guy asked us to get him food. He even offered his change. This sounds ok cept that I saw a long metal pipe protruding from his jackket.....shady. The tactics of the nite are 1 large amount. Swindle those less math inclined...and ask for food...and i'll throw in NOT usin this metal pipe =) ah this is home sweet Berkeley 4.18.01 Counter up! Guestbook and forum? soon Wow I dunno how I've gotten so many hits recently, but it's over 200 hits this month! =) This is encouraging and I'll be adding more pages onto this site as I find the time. His roommates commented on how his hamsters were always humping each other. Eric swore he didn't have gay hamsters! Well...tonite while we were lookin at the hamsters I noticed that there was a litter of baby hamsters...now either they're not both guys or nature pulled something outta it's hat. Eric of course was shocked. First off. One day a couple weeks ago I get a letter from Wall Street Journal thanking me for subscribing and asking me to sign up for their online service...I think it's a mistake, but they keep on e-mailing me to sign up for online so I do. No biggie. Today I noticed for once a big pile of papers in the mailroom downstairs. I look and it says "Wall Street Journal" So I'm saying to myself NO WAY...I look and behold it's for me and to my apt. WTH! Apparently I've been gettin it since Monday...I swear I didn't order it...but I guess it's free so who am I to complain. Second thing. I get home after seein the "Wall Street Journals" and who pops online but a Juliet. Ah the ambivalence. Anywayz that's my random day =) 4.10.01 CS!!! #%@$#! Part 2 After last nite's lack of sleep I find myself back in Soda for another 8 hrs...at least the design was turned in on time =) 4.10.01 CS!!! #%@$#! After slackin in CS due to midterms I'm back in gear. 11hrs in Soda and 2 hrs sleep baby! 4.8.01 Lookin for a zesty Guestpage and Counter My close friend Mike suggested that I get a guestpage up so I can get some feedback and whatnot on this site. Thanks all! 4.7.01 Krispy Kreme and Ruckus Tonite at 11:38 I headed out the the "nearby" Kripsy Kreme at Union City lookin for some sweets and some ruckus. Drivin was Kai with his somewhat tricked out Passat 1.8T and a fellow VW'er of his Bahn, a pretty nice dude. Here's the breakdown. 11:38 Head out to pick up Bahn 11:58 He shows up and we check out his Futura Yellow GTI =) 12:30 Krispy Kreme goodness...but wait! Where did all those Integs and Civics go? Doesn't look like much action tonite 1:00 Arrive at Milepedas In & Out...Whoa a lot of Integs, Civics, etc...still no action...and it's COLD!!! 1:30 Drive around the place. OH! Looks like we found a line of cars goin somewhere! 1:35 Followed wrong car...Back to In & Out where we find out where to go 1:50 JACKPOT! Cheveron station with Imports Galore...oh shizznit...looks like a cop hit the jackpot too...we bone outta there and follow some cars. Looks like we're gettin somewhere... 1:55 Still followin those cars around. I think we're goin in circles. 2:00 Followed wrong car AGAIN! Headin home after some nice sweets but not too much ruckus. 4.6.01 EECS Boys and their Drink! My friend has a theory. All EECS Guys are either geeks or they are drunks =) Apparantly I'm affiliated with the latter "^_^ So there was much drink and merriment to celebrate the end of ee20 midterm and lament our grades =) Cheers! 4.6.01 EE 20 Rapage So after this really bad math midterm I take another midterm which I am equally unprepared for or worse. Guess what? It was worse...sigh... 4.5.01 Math 55 RAPED ME! Dammit...I knew this was gonna happen. Out of 4 I only know I got 1!! JUST 1! I messed up 4 part a which meant I couldn't do part b-d. Is that messed up or what?!? What's worse is that it was a stupid mistake. They wanted s1, s2, and s3 but like an idiot I gave them s4 instead of s3. GAAAAH #@#$@$! Why am I so stupid! 4.4.01 BA198 Proj Presentation Well I presented and all went well. Hopefully it'll get full points and what not. Now the real worries are coming up...Math 55 midterm tomorra and EE 20 Midterm Friday. I'm SOOO screwed in both classes. Come back to check out the amazing battles between me and my midterms. Usually there's a good fight but I think I'm outta my league here.
