Other Possible Relationships Well, everyone's always buzzing about Hermione/Ron or Hermione/Harry but what about the other people??? They're not the only ones there! Let's look at the other possibilities...
Hermione/Neville
Well, c'mon. He did ask her to the Yule Ball. Plus Hermione is always helping him in classes. They balance each other out and could make a good relationship.
Hermione/Draco
Oh, the old forbidden love. There are quite a few hints on this one but J.K. Rowling has said no to this idea.
Harry/Luna
They both do seem to have a connection of some kind. I don't really mind if they do end up together, they've both been outcasts at some point and stuff.
Ron/Luna
I also don't mind if they end up together. Luna was humming Weasley Is Our King at one point, and she laughed hysterically at Ron's joke about Crabbe. She also always stares at him dreamily. Though Ron thinks she's nuts so she'd probably just end up having a crush on him and he'd reject her or something.
Harry/Pansy
Well...it could happen...you never ever know... forbidden love...
Dean/Padma or Parvati
He did say they were the best looking girls of the year and seemed kinda grumpy that Ron and Harry snagged them...
Harry/Ginny
This is a cute idea. Ginny used to have a bit of a crush on him but she has moved on now [Michael Corner and Dean Thomas]. Harry hasn't shown much thought about Ginny so this seems a teeny bit out of reach.
Draco/Ginny
Yeah, forbidden love again. They haven't really had much of a conversation so this doesn't seem possible.
Hermione/Seamus or Dean
Don't know if those seem possible. There hasn't been much interaction between her and either boy, so this isn't really in mind.
Bill/Fleur
Well, she's getting tutoring from him, isn't she? There's also the fact that she did fancy him because when he came to visit Harry, she was eyeing him a bit. That would be cute if it did happen.
Ron/Fleur
Well, Ron did used to have a crush on her, but it seems less and less possible now. There wasn't any comment on how Ron felt about Bill teaching Fleur.
Ron/Lavender
I don't know about this one. I just can't forget that time in Divination when Lavender found Uranus on her planet map and Ron wanted to have a look at her 'Uranus'. Haha, but I don't really like the idea much.
Ron/Padma
She did start to take a bit of an interest to him when he was part of the second task in the fourth book. I don't like Padma much though, so the idea isn't pleasing me.
Harry/Parvati
It seems to have ended there on the Yule Ball, and there has been nothing between them so it doesn't seem possible.
Harry/Lavender
Not enough words exchanged between them to be considered.
Neville/Ginny
That's a cute idea. First off, Neville did ask her to the Yule Ball, and in the fifth book, he was trying to help Ginny escape from the Slytherins, which was why he got caught into trying to save Sirius. But Ginny doesn't seem too keen on him, though.
Fred/Angelina
I think they go well together. There isn't really much comment on whether they continued together after the Yule Ball, but still. I like the idea, it's cute how they were dancing in the Yule Ball. [They were dancing exuberantly.]
Hermione/Fred or George
This was suggested to me once. I suppose opposites attract, but it doesn't appeal to me.
Dean/Ginny
It didn't really say in the fifth book whether they were going out, but Ginny did say she fancied him. I wouldn't mind if they did end up together. Ginny/Colin
Ginny and Colin??? Uhh...it's not really my cup of tea. Sure they're in the same year but I don't think they're right for each other.
