Background Characters There are some characters who are mentioned alot in the book but not in the movies. Well, they're actually just milling around in the background if you look. Name - Gemma Padley Plays - Penelope Clearwater Where Is She - She walks around with Percy in the Great Hall alot, but you never really see a full view of her. I think the most you see of her is her back when she and Percy walk past Nearly Headless Nick.
