The Other Side of the Sea

You….. a man as a human creature
I am woman as a human creature……
The word is the same
But you have given so many meanings to it
As if my body’s separate identity was my crime.
I the wife, I the mistress,
In every form a new mystery for you.
Whichever angle you look from
I appear different.
If you look with the eyes of a labor-room cat
Then I will appear to you as a pool of blood.
Like a child, break the toy and peep inside
Then there is nothing in me.
Journeying within the curves and contours of my body
The destination of pleasure you reach,
That is the beginning of my mystery.
Just by taking a dip
You can not reach the other end of the sea.
If you try and understand, I am a drop,
If you can feel
Then all I am
          is love.
