DRYING APPLICATIONS

 SOLAR AIR HEATER

          Solar air heater is a device to produce hot air for any industrial or farmer level drying applications by using freely available SUN, without using any conventional fuels like electricity, diesel, LPG, firewood, coal, etc., But It could be coupled with an existing conventional drying systems like Tray driers, Tunnel Driers, Conveyor Drier, FBD drier and bin drier operated by conventional fuels to save fuel consumption.

           The south facing roof of the factory could be used as a base for the solar panel. By using existing roof structure, solar base  will be fitted above the roof. Above the base solar panel will be constructed.

Energy output          :  10,000 Kcal/hr to 4,10,000 Kcal/hr
Temperature             :  400C to 1000C
Models                     :  Aluminium absorber & copper absorber
Savings                    :  7 liters to 300 liters of Diesel / day (8 hr)
Life                          :  More than 20 years
Space Reqired          :  25 m2  to 1000 m2 of south facing factory roof

 

ADVANTAGES:

As Solar Air Heating System is coupled with the existing roof conditions, there is no need of extra additional space and also bottom of the solar roof could be used as a processing area and drying area.

It has a flexibility to combine with the existing conventional drying system

As the Solar Panel is being constructed by the non- corrosive materials it has a longer system life cycle

As It has no moving parts except blower and damper controllers, it has no major wear and tear
