Andreas is only 18 years old, but have already beaten some top players! And he is still a junior!
So far he has surprised top players such as: Juan-Antonio Marin, Arnaud Di Pasquale, Galo Blanco, Alberto Martin, Oliver Gross, Richard Fromberg, Christian Ruud, Dinu Pescariu!
Thoose people who have followed Andreas since his early juniordays and right until know, have an clear opinion about his future ranking progress:
Andreas will make it into the top 50 in the early stagess of 2000. And in a few years he will be a top 5 player! Ofcourse this depens on Andreas future progress and development as a tennisplayer.
His strength on the court is his baseline game.
He likes to hit the ball hard and to dictate from the back of the court.
His serve is quite good, but can improve.
The volley is Andreas weakness, but he is working hard on it.
His maybe biggest weapon is his mental strength. He hates to loose and is a big fighter.
Sometimes though, his temper can let him down, but usually he plays even better when he is "pissed off".
