Useful Educational Sites
There is plenty of useful stuff on the internet. The main problem has always been finding it. That's why I like to foster a sense of community on the internet.The vast majority of worthwhile things I've found through the 'net have been because someone else told me about it. Usually on a listserv.
Here are just a few places you could start looking for useful teaching resources:
- Alberta Curriculum Support Resources Lots of links to a variety of teacher resources.
- BellSouth.net's Education Gateway Again, plenty of links to other projects and ideas.
- CCCnet Some good ideas - worth a look.
- CSRnet Christian School Resource Network - lots of very useful information. Take a look.
- Microsoft's K-12 Education Site They also do a free newsletter (and there's some free software too).
- Resources for elementary teachers in Christian schools Useful links for other teachers too!
- The Cornell Theory Centre's Math/Science Gateway Lots of links to some good teacher resources.
- The Math Forum Home Page Lots of resources and ideas for mathematics teachers.
- Web 66 An ambitious project - some very good advice too. Highly recommended for any computer teacher.
