Gertrude Stein
Reflections of History
Gertrude Stein was one of the greatest writers in the world. She not only helped to show the world how art and poetry imitated life but also that life could imitate art and poetry at times. Gertrude Stein was able to meet so many people and to understand them and explain them so well. Her thoughts on world culture were huge at the time. Even today her thoughts are mind boggling. She was able to show the world that life was too precious and great to give up and it is this idea that these pages are created.
