Actually, don't be fooled by the newer date. There are some serious cobwebs on this particular page. I will update the page when I have the time. I am no longer so wrapped up in this game as I used to be. Like a number of Scrabble players, I have had to back away a little from the amount of time I spent playing and studying this game. At one time I had a rating of 1620. I imagine it has lapsed now. Life goes on. I still enjoy the game, though, and I might do the tournament thing again one day. All of this to say that the links below may or may not be working.

site from Down-Under that has, among other things, Scrabble via Telnet.
I learned here about the recent Australia/New Zealand Tournament. The Aussies
eked out the victory but New Zealand has a spiffier national anthem. Check

Lots of fun but not really helpful for high-octane Scrabble study. You
can adjust the search to get only one word anagrams. However, a lot of

palindromes, puns, etymology, languages in general). Why go to any trouble,
for instance, trying to think up a cliche when you can gussy up your verbage
with a ready-made list of cliches. (Banality was never this easy!) Seriously,
if you are fascinated with words you will want to bookmark this page and
