Overcomers

"For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith."  1st John 5:4

"They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings — and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”  Rev.17:14

These verses above show that there are not two classes of Christians: overcomers and the overcome. We have the promise and the challenge from God's faithful Word that "everyone born of God overcomes the world". Christians everywhere need to wake up and smell the savour of life unto life. We have no reason to be discouraged or defeated.
