I haven't written this up yet.
Soon, I'll write up the cities of Ligaea and Rajeya, both of which are to be found on the Ligaean Peninsula.
Other parts of the world may or may not follow thereafter. We'll see how it goes.
The largest geographical feature of the world of Ansuz is the Great Continent, which covers the entire northern hemisphere (give or take a few inlets). The coastline of this vast continent is never far from the equator, and seaports ring the entire circumference of the world. The Great Continent is enormous, and away from the coast it is very, very cold. Imagine Siberia and Antarctica rolled into one, and then scaled up.
The southern hemisphere includes several large island continents, innumerable smaller islands, the Great Sea, and a few peninsulas of the Great Continent (of which the Ligaean Peninsula, which spans the equator, is probably the largest).
The name Ansuz is used for the world because
I have no plans to write up the worlds of Thurisaz or Raidho. As far as I'm concerned, they're uninhabited. If you want to make them un-uninhabited (for example by adding little green men on Raidho), that's fine, but you're on your own.
Ansuz does not have a moon. I've no idea why not (I'm not a cosmologist), or what difference (if any) this makes (I'm not a sociologist either).
For reference, these are the 24 letters of the futhark:
| Fehu | Uruz | Thurisaz | Ansuz |
| Raidho | Kenaz | Gebo | Wunjo |
| Hagalaz | Nauthiz | Isa | Jera |
| Eihwaz | Perthro | Algiz | Sowilo |
| Tiwaz | Berkano | Ehwaz | Mannaz |
| Laguz | Ingwaz | Dagaz | Othala |
