In
the days of the Mughal emperors, music was
restricted to small groups of persons.
Indeed, entertainment would be held
preferably in the gardens where the air
would be fresher. The concept of the
concert hall was not present. However,
open-air sessions are technically less
conductive to appreciate (for the
listener) as well as to play (for the
musician). Furthemore, with the
specialised sound systems presently
available in concerts halls, it is
possible to express the artist soul in its
totality, and to greater number of
listeners. Therefore, such environment
would always be preferable, though without
exclusiveness. Open-air concert is also
possible. |

For
classic music concerts:
Asad
Qizilbash is usually playing in a trio
formation: sarod, tabla and tampura. In
addition to these three, other instruments
from tyhe classical music such as flut or
violon, could be added. |

For cross
cultural concerts:
The concelt of cross-culture brings
together players from various musical
genres (such as folk, jazz, or classic).
Asad Qizilbash plays either sarod or
violon in sduch concerts, together with
his tabla player. It is left to the
promoter to introduce the one or more
artist playing in such concerts |
