	They handle like Swords ! from 72" Zwiehanders down to Viking 28" swords these JesterSwords can be made true weapons weight (or "whiffle weight" at your option) and can be precision balanced.. The diamond cross section reduces wind resistance greatly from oval and round boffers , and special construction can provide for absolute rigidity UNTIL impact. Normal boffer construction causes "latency".. a delay between when you point the hilt somewhere and when the point actually arrives, by study and special construction techniques , we've learned how to latency can be reduced to NEAR ZERO, while still allowing the core to flex on impact... for the comfort and safety of your friends and opponents... We can even replicate a SPECIFIC sword (a bit bulkier and with more wind resistance) at your request.. for appearance, weight and balance...
	they hit like pillows ! The jester swords telescoping design allows for about six inches of compression on our SHORT swords and more than a foot on great weapons... you can thrust with power and confidence even at charging opponents knowing that your sword has safety built in.. Not only that , because the give is NOT due to "floppy tips" it will NEVER fold over and doesnt wear out faster than the rest of the sword the narrow section of these blades also makes them exceptionally gentle.Some round boffers don't have time to compress on impact. so they "spank" relatively hard. JesterSwords outer edge of foam compresses very swiftly because of its narrow but deep contact with the target.. but as it gets closer to the core, its cross section INCREASES , and therefor gradually slows the compression resulting in no "spank" and very full protection from the core From the side jester swords present a wide but shallow "paddle" so while there isn't a lot of depth to the padding there's also a greater area to distribute the force of the occasional "Flat" blow...
