A responsible English Springer Spaniel breeder will test for Hip Dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, PRA, and eye abnormalities; PFK and Fucosidosis may also be tested.
Optional tests are numerous but some common to ESS include thyroid, cardiac, shoulder, or patella.
Testing is available through OFA, PennHIP, OVC, WCVM, and CERF.

9/12/09: Bailey qualified in Novice Standard to earn her NAP title with a perfect score and a very smooth run!
9/5/09: Bailey earned her NJC this weekend!
8/2/09: Buzz earned his first double Q today for his ARCH! 1B-207/1st, 2B-203/2nd! Good boy!
8/1/09: Buzz qualified in Level 3 with a 183 and 2nd place!
7/12/09: Buzz qualified in UKC rally level 1 today.
7/11/09: Bailey went 3/3 today in AKC agility. Q/first in FAST (our firs time playing it), Q/1st in Standard, Q/2nd in Jumpers. GOOD GIRLY. She discovered she CAN run now that I left her nails and she was having a ball in Jumpers (our last run)..
7/10/09: Bailey Double Qualified in Excellent B and Advanced B for her 4th RAE QQ.
7/3/09: HEALTH NEWS Buzz's OFA results are in... Hips-Good, Elbows-Normal! Numbers are up on his page.
