Renu Ghosh is the Chairman cum Managing Director, Roopayan Publications. She has had a very meaningful career of more than 25 years with UNICEF. She has been one of the members of the UNICEF’ s Creative Team of Meena for South Asia, and the National Coordinator and In-Charge of the Meena Project in India since its inception in 1991 until 2007.

Meena products are distributed in India under a licensing arrangement between Roopayan Publications and UNICEF at competitive market rates, approved by UNICEF.

Fifteen per cent of the sale proceeds is put back in the Meena Project to develop new Meena materials and capacity building activities.

Roopayan Publications

1. develops new Meena material to keep Meena relevant and fresh
2. provides technical support to state governments in planning and setting
   up the Meena Manch in upper primary schools and Meena Cabinets
   in primary schools.
3. enhances capacities of master trainers on how to make the best use of
   the Meena materials, and
4. assesses and evaluates activities related to Meena in select
   geographic areas.
