Chapter 19

            �Ok! Here�s the plan!� Chris said as he put down a map on the table in the science office. The map wasn�t big or impressive. It was basically a blank piece of paper with two parallel lines going across.

              Everyone was there; Callie and her brother, Addison, Jenn, Brent, Hannah, Chris, Mac and Connor, and of course me. Everyone was there� everyone but Rick. No one trusts him. No one but me.

              �What the hell? That�s not a plan! It�s just a piece of paper with two lines on it!� Mac shouted. Chris looked annoyed, �Let me explain first�� He took his pencil and drew circle all over the paper, and within the circles he would place a letter within them.

              �Ok, this is what the formation we�ll have when we go in the halls. Addison will be up front. Brent will be covering us from behind. And Mac and Conner will take each side of door when we approach one. The rest of us will be in the middle. This way, we�ll be prepared for anything that comes from either behind, in front, or from behind the doors. You understand?�

              After that, everyone was silent. We just stood there in awe. Connor went down and picked up the paper, turning it upside down and backwards and all, �What the hell? We don�t need a plan. We never had one the last time.�

             Chris took the paper back, �That�s why practically everyone died! At least time, we�ll have a chance against whatever is out there��

              I went to sleep� and in my sleep, I dreamed. I dreamed a different dream than usual. I dreamed of dark place; a dark realm. Where I was the only one there. I was scared. But than Eric appeared in front of me from out of nowhere. Than Kevin appeared beside Eric. Both had happy smiles on them. I than happy, instead of scared.

              But than Rick appeared between them, his face was without expression. Rick placed each of his hands on both Kevin and Eric shoulder. My brothers looked at him with fear and horror on their faces. Than his shirt ripped as angelic wings opened up, beautiful and bright.

             My brothers where crying when they saw Rick�s wings. But this wasn�t a happy crying; this was a fearful cry. And instead of tears coming down their cheeks, it was blood. And as they were about to turn their heads to look at me, they turned to blood into a body of blood.

             Rick sudden flapped his wings and took off the ground but only a half a meter away and stood there, watching us. With his emotionless face�

             I than walked up to what was my brother, who are now nothing more than a human figure made of blood. I went to touch Eric�s face� but when I touched it, they both melted into a puddle of blood. It was than that the black place wasn�t black anymore� It was painted Red. With Rick still floating. Yes� He was still there. Floating with his angelic wings, but with a grin that seem to make him look evil� He than had a sword in his hand, and dove right to me, with eyes of blood and a smile of pure evil.

            �Ah!� I screamed silently as I woke up. Only to find myself in Camp, where no one was near me, only Eric who was still asleep (I was surprised he didn�t wake up due to my screaming). I wipe my cold sweat off of me. Everyone was asleep, which was rare, considering the situation. The lights where turned off and all you could hear was snoring of the other people.

            I looked around, only to lay my eyes on Rick. He was wide-awake and staring at me, he had the worried face on him. It scared me. He scared me.

            �Raise and shine sleeping beauty!� I was shook awake by Jenn. She was hyper like always, unlike me. I�m not much of a morning person. �What�?� I asked as I tried to wake up. �Come on! We�re having a ceremony of our leaving! Come on!�
Well. Everyone was waiting at the doors; Megan was already there, with just about every member of the team, Rick was even there, between Mac and Connor. Jenn grabbed my arm and practically dragged me through the crowd to get to Megan and the others. I had to grab Eric�s hand for him to follow us, or else he would have gotten lost within the crowd.

            �Well, all we need is Callie and Addison.� Megan whispered to us. I�m not too shocked at that; Callie isn�t a morning person either. And everyone knows that Callie is �always� late. But after a few minuets of standing, Callie and Addison emerged from the crowd. Than Megan motioned everyone to be quite so she can give everyone and us her speech.

            �Fellow Students, today is great day for us! We have a new rescue team to go and find us food!� Everyone cheered that and she continued on, �They will also go and try to find anymore survivors!� Everyone cheered at that too, although, not as loud as before� �They are heroic and brave to enter the halls. They will face many dangers that may affect them for life, they will cross through many hard times� But they have their reasons for doing this! They all have reasons to go out there! They go out there for a better future for us!� Everyone cheered at that. �Now it�s our turn to help them. May the kids please step forward to hand them their stuff.�

            Kids of all ages came forward, bearing our backpacks and guns. A little tiny girl came forward to me, she gave me my stuff and she said, �Can you please find my older brother?� I smiled, �I�ll try my best.� She smiled back and walked away. Eric held my hand and said, �Please find our brother too.� I smiled, �I �will� find him.�

            �Easy now! That�s a big gun you�re carrying there!� Mac said as a small kid carried his stuff to him. Connor had a big kid come to him holding his stuff; the kid must have been in High school. Connor took his stuff, �Ok, this isn�t fair. Everyone else gets a small cute little kid, I get a kid about my age!� The kid looked annoyed and replied, �That�s because you�re too tall for the other kids.�

             Hannah little girl carried her thinks and walked away happy. Callie and Addison little cousin brought their stuff to them. Jenn had a hyper little kid bring her stuff to her; the kid was never standing still. And Brent and Chris had little small boys carry their stuff to them.

             Then Megan said, �And now I will name this team, Team HOPE. For they bring the hope to our hearts.� And I heard the Jenn whisper to me, �And �hope� that we get back alive��

             Megan continued her speech, �Now we shall open the doors to the halls, but please don�t make any noise so that we don�t attract any monster here. Now, Open the doors.� And some high school kids opened the doors for us to walk through. Everyone started to walk through, I looked down at Eric and he said to me, �Remember your promise, ok?�

             I nodded my head, �I will, I promise.� And with that he left to stand beside Megan. I nodded to her, and she smiled and nodded back. Eric�s in good care now.

            I was about to walk into the halls, but I looked back to Eric. And he held up my necklace, and I took off.

           When we walked out, the doors shut right away. We all just stood there, shocked about what just happened in the passed few minuets. Jenn finally said something, �What the hell�?  It was like they just kicked us out!�
