FAQS
Why BASIC?
I go to a school full of Scots and Irish people, and I'm not Scottish or Irish. And there's alot of difference between us. So I thought that I should make a comic based on what other people feel like when you go to a school you feel excluded from. So then you have to start from the basics of each culture. I mean, I have Bag-pipe plays strolling down the halls sometimes... -_-; (I didn't even know what bagpipes here at the time!)
You want to put this in your school newspaper!?
My school is cheap. They don't have a newspaper. -_-; So I decided to make a newspaper with some others. And so I decided to make a comic for everyone to laugh at. And my school already knows that I do comics, and some actually read them (and the doodle comics on my school stuff. ^^;) And they would actually want me to do the comic. And then I came up with the idea of BASIC.
Bob... How orginal.
It's amazing how common the name Bob is. But I haven't even seen a teenager called Bob! I'm guessing that people just gave up on the name since well... it's too common. ^^;
So I decided to revive that name! And I also thought that it was funny. I mean, seriously, how can you not laugh at the name 'Bob'? (I'm sorry for making fun of those who are actually named Bob. ^^;)
Chi-Ka-Ga-Rou??? What's with that?
I made a comic where Bob actually meets Chi for the first time, and he asked for his name. And she says, "Chikagarou Toyomaki". All my friends who read this stood there for over 5 mins trying to pronouce that name. I thought it was funny for people who aren't use to the Japanese names to try and pronouce it out.
Ok. I thought you said that they're in Highschool. How come Chapter one is in University?
Chapter one was originally an assignment for Biology. And I the information and plot only seemed to work out if they were university. But the later chapters will take place in highschool, I assure you of that.
What did you get as your mark on Chapter one?
87%, but that was only because of the information in there were all theorically and not based on actual facts. T.T;
