Myrrh had gotten sick of waiting around on the peak for the eggs to hatch and had wandered off instead. To his shock and horror he wound up in the library, staring at a very familiar form: his twin sister Myrth. The black and red firelizard, Analent, was still up on the peak, enjoying poking around the eggs, and thus leaving Myrrh alone to deal with the demoness.

"Myrth..."
"Myrrh, you bloody disgrace, you did wind up here." The demoness hissed, her scythe slipping into her hands with the fluid transaction of long use. "Who the hell was that man?"
"What man?"

Myrrh was trying desperately to remain calm, the calmer he stayed the less likely he would irritate his sister. However, she could always be in one of her super volitile moods and his very tranquility could piss her off. It was always a guess game with her.

"Don't play games with me! The angel-winged man! The one who sent us here! You did something too piss him off and now I'm stuck here! Most likely until I bond one of those dragon beasts."
"You're going to bond as well?" Great, Myrrh thought, our bonds will be siblings as well! "Whatever, problem is. I don't know who he was either...just that he was in a bad mood when An found him."

Little did Myrrh know that it had been his very own Analent that had caused the rotten mood in the angel-winged male. However, that is a different story.

"Yes." Myrth said bluntly, glaring daggers at her brother, but it was obvious she'd run out of things to snap at him for.
"Is that all you wanted to know, sis?"
"Don't call me that, you disgrace!"

Myrrh sighed heavily in appology before silently retreating. She'd never back down on her life, it was always had he that had to risk bowing his head to her and getting it chopped off. Luckily Myrth seemed preoccupied and wandered away once Myrrh attempted to avoid her.

+ - + - +

Myrrh had fallen asleep in the library, pouring over a scroll containing information on the dragon he was supposed to be bonding, when a strange bugling woke him. However, instead of moving he simply sat there, head rested on the table trying to figure out why the joyous sound was so familiar. And then, in a flash of shrieking black and red, Analent came hurtling at Myrrh and tugging at his hair.

Images of the nest begain flooding the demon's mind until Myrrh realized what was happening: the eggs were hatching.

"Thank ya, An. Shall we go?"

Once Myrrh woke An happily perched on his shoulder and chirped placidly, allowing Myrrh to continue up to the peak. Once there he found himself a nice rock, plopped down and watched the still eggs. Slowly the other candidates were gathing, including his sister whome he had somehow believed would eventually attempt to skip out on the whole ordeal.

Not long after all the candidates had arrived did the eggs begin to rock and shatter, revealing one adorable, fuzzy dragon after another. All the while Analent was singing happily, a beautiful flutelike warbling that was obnoxious at times but pleasant at others. At the moment it was annoying, though he could blame it on the seething vibes he was getting from Myrth. Luckily once the first egg hatched to reveal a fluffy ball of medium blue, Analent fluttered off to investigate the new creature.

Myrrh noted a pink, who appeared extremely shocked to indeed be pink, and another blue, before an egg came spinning out from the nest and collided with his boot. For a moment his eyes widened in shock and then the egg promptly split in two, revealing an icy blue E'kaanaath whom stretched lanquidly, causing her egg to shatter further, and peered up with loving, green orbs.

~Can I keep you company? You look kind of lonely.~ Came a very light, pretty blue thought in his mind.

I'm not lonely, he replied in the newly formed mental link I'm frustrated at my sister there. He made an emphatic nod to his left, where Myrth stood, looking quite irtte at being in the same place with her twin brother. The little blue E'kaanaath, who had devined herself to be called Ellyia, hopped into his lap, ignoring her growing hunger and cuddling with her new bond.

A warm smile melted over Myrrh's face at the sweet affection he was receiving. For a moment he simply sat and stroked her downy feathers, but he could still feel her hunger and he wasn't going to keep her waiting.

"Come on Ellyia, let's get you fed."

The dragonet radiated her thanks and the two of them wandered over to the table serving meet to the hatchlings.

He'd nearly finished feeding Ellyia when Analent landed on his shoulder and chirped authoritively. Blinking with confusion the strange male lifted his head, and noticed that the last and final egg was hatching. Slowly he scanned the peak, taking in details he'd momentarily missed even as he fed Ellyia the last piece she was begging to eat.

It seems a purple had hatched after Ellyia, then an ice blue and finally the last egg shattered open to reveal a dark purple male. The little male looked furtively around him and then headed toward the food tray. Instantly Myrrh knew who he had bonded, for they shared too similar of mannerisms for it to be anyone else: Myrth.

Stroking Ellyia he moved himself out of the way, finding another rock to sit upon and stroke his new bond as he quietly observed the others.
