The Hobbit
The Hobbit tells the story of Bilbo Baggins, a quiet, simple hobbit from the town of Hobbiton in the remote region of The Shire. Bilbo's content lifestyle is forever interrupted when the wizard Gandalf and a group of dwarves incite him to join them in a quest for a stolen treasure. The group faces hungry trolls, goblins and a strange, slimy creature by the name of Gollum before finally confronting the last dragon, Smaug. Throughout the journey, Bilbo finds himself capable of a courage unbeknownst to him... and he also finds a ring.
