The Films
The movies have been finally released, much to fans liking and true to the spirit of Tolkien's work. On a personal note, some changes were made regarding characters and story, but I found the adaptation to be, perhaps not flawless but definately high above what any other team of filmmakers and storytellers in the world could have produced. I believe that, much like Frodo, Peter Jackson and his team were chosen by the powers that be to carry this quest out.
And they have succeeded.
