When I came home, I was told that you could see a film of "The Gladiator" in a Victoria Park. Then Mamiko and I went there with beer and chips by ourselves.
There are thousands people waiting the film, they seemed to be relaxed over drinking and eating. Some people brought their chairs or a table.
Every one faced the big screen.
All of them enjoyed the film very much, some times they said "wow", and sometimes "boo".
I had never seen a film outside, so it was really interesting.

Today is a day of "Nottinghill Carnival", which is said to be the largest festival in Europe
I was told to be careful for my bag from every body in the office. Then I didn't bring my bag, but a nylon bag of super market, in which I had some sweets and water..
The earlier, the better, I thought, Then we arrived before noon. Yet, the parade didn't start. Besides, it was very cold today.
Finally, the parade started on two.
And this is my honest thoughts; not interesting. I have seen Halloween Parade in New York, and that was much better.
I could not stand in such cold street any more.


In the evening, Mamiko and I enjoyed the dinner at BusabaEathai , a Thai restaurant.
We ordered a grilled baby chicken, spring rolls, shrimps food.
We wanted to eat especially a grilled baby chicken, because this smell was spreading outside the restaurant.
And our expectation was not betrayed.
We enjoyed these plates with beer.
I think this chef must be genius, talented and gifted!

Nottinghill street

Today is a bank holiday, and I met my old friend Yasuko, who came to London with her husband.
First we toured the National Gallery, then enjoyed tea at top floor in National Portrait Gallery.
Then we went to Her Majesty's theatre for the musical "The Phantom of the Opera".
The story is a kind of love story, which the Phantom of the Opera loved Christine, a singer.
Yasuko had read this book, so sometimes she explained the situation.
The stage was really fantastic and mysterious.
