Don't you just love this picture ?
How many of us do you know ?
Wanna join us ?

This photo was taken on the 18th of August 1997 ( hehe... my birthday ) at the Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail basketball court. Yeah, we were celebrating mine and Chai Yee Wan's birthday ( hers is on the 22nd ) together as proud noisy Kamparians!!!
Ohhhh..... do you feel left out? Well, you should feel lucky because that's not all we do.

1998/99 NEW FAMILY!!! - Yep!... The number of Kamparians here just keep growing, even our HQ ain't big enough anymore!!! This picture was taken in June 1998 during Lee Soon Chuan's and Loh Tuck Kuan's birthday party. However, 7 juniors were absent that night. Imagine what the photo would look like had they all came... PHEW!!!

Who are we ? Refering to the first photo above, standing from left is Hu Kim Seng, Tan Yen Cheng, Ho Chew Yee, Chai Yee Wan, Yong Ngai Cheng and Lai Kin Wai. Sitting from left is Loh Tuck Kuan, Khoo Yuw Kong, Vinod ( ME!!! ), Lee Soon Chuan and Lee Jou Wen. Those who are not in this photo are Chan Mei Khuan, Goh Joo Yi, Lee Voon Loong and Yew Kok Yan.

The 'OLDGUYS' here!!! - Look more 'matured', eh? Sigh... They are the 1996 STPM veterans. But hey!... They are gonna be out of here next year!!!

We organised a Reunion Dinner during the last Chinese New Year attended by most of our Kamparian friends from all over the country. Here we are, as proud noisy organisers !!!...

Active??? Sure we are ! We are so active that lots of people now know our little place called Kampar. Cute picture, eh? Well, us three here are just plain Kamparians currently engaged in a project called the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations better known as HPAIR.
Did you see us on the RTM News on the 28th of March 1998? Kamparians have been known to be active in AIESEC Clubs around the country.

Why a Kampar Club in UPM ? When we got to UPM as freshies, we were alien to this whole new environment. We needed each other to come through several episodes of our life here. Knowing that we could solve problems better together and that more and more of our friends from Kampar will be coming here, why not have a Kampar Club?
Together with other Kampar Clubs from other institutions, we aim to stay close to one another and to assist our younger brothers and sisters in whatever way we can to ease their transition to the life here.

So what about our friends from other higher-learning institutions? We do keep in touch through frequent activities and most importantly, E-mails. We even work together to help our dear Juniors through seminars and one-to-one sessions. We are FAMILY !!!

Hey! Click USM or UM to see our friends elsewhere.

The future ? Having made it through our first year of life in UPM, naturally we are looking forward to the next 2 years before we checkout of here. But before that, wouldn't it be nice if we were to leave behind something worth being proud of? It will always be a pleasure to introduce Kampar to the world, and that we shall do.
