what a beautiful day - boy is it hard to be here at work. all the other production artist left already - so i'm it. paul decided to go up to his friend's cabin today instead of tomorrow - since indie's gonna go with me to the art crawl. he thinks it'll be more fun tonight, cuz everybody will be hung over tomorrow.
paul and i have been having such a wonderful time together. we've had two "long lunches" this week (i won't tell you exactly what that means, but i'm sure most of you can figure it out on your own.) everything just seems to be going right now - in work and my relationships. it's really a good thing - i hope it lasts.
it's strange too because i stopped taking st johns wort about 2-3 weeks ago and i haven't noticed any ill effects as of yet..... in fact, i've felt better recently than in awhile. it's hard to know if that's to be contributed to the nice weather though. but, i'm glad i'm not dependant on them.
had another encounter with ignorance yesterday - actually, if i want to be accurate, it's not ignorance, it's just plain idiocy. this is the second time this has happened to me. the office in my apartment building changed their hours not long after i move in....so that they're open the exact same times that i'm at work - therefore, it's impossible for me to get there to pick up packages before they close unless i leave work early or arrive to work late. the leasing agents that work in the office are aware of this problem - since it's the case for many of the tenants at the complex....so, they've agreed to deliver packages to those tenants that request it. i have requested it, but she still tends to hold packages in the office for a week or more before delivering them to my apt.
i know this because ups leaves a notice in my mailbox informing me that they have left my packages in the office. so, twice now i've had to call and request that they deliver it to my apt. because they were holding on to it too long - both times she promised to do it that day - and both times she failed to do it.
so, i've decided that from now on i'm going to have all my packages delivered to my work address so i'm not at this stupid woman's mercy. i just thought it was a bad idea to order stuff from victoria's secret and have it delivered to work - but at least their discrete about it.....their packages just say vsc on the outside and most people probably don't know what that means. (i hope)...it mostly just makes me mad because i'm the type of person that likes to plan what i'm going to wear the next day - and she screws it up when she says it'll be there and it isn't.
i know i sound anal...so sue me.
